    Does anyone have any information about the Carrera GT that hit a Minivan in front of autosport Designs in Huntington a couple of days ago?

    WHOA I didn't hear anything either, and My GT2 is down the road from there getting work done, I was by there today?!?

    By "down the road" , do you mean Lynmor Motorsports?

    They are working on my 930 motor rebuild as we speak. I just purchased one of their customers track cars and I will probably sell the 930 after the work is done.

    Oh wow small world, they actually mentioned you if you are the guy who bought the 964 white track car I believe.... My friend Tom is also having his motor built for his 996tt monster build, 3.8/gt3 heads and cams and so on, will be ridiculous!

    My RUF is having some cup car components put in suspension wise and illy dialing in my motons for vir march 14th event.

    Nope, not the 964. This one is a 930 with a 996 glass body kit and a twin tubo 3.5 motor. Very light - very fast

    Here's the official deal on the CGT that crashed near Autosport Designs, straight from Tom Papadopoulos;

    "Yes, 35 mph crash, right rear suspension broke, customer only uses this Carrera GT as a track car, good thing he wasn't on the banking at Daytona! Car will be fine, minivan is not worth anything, everyone is ok.
    These photos should put the stories to rest. It was not doing 200 mph, it was just a bad day."


    2 photos of the car were included in the email, but my computer is giving me sh*t and not allowing me to post them here. I have forwarded them to another F-Chatter and asked him to post up the pics. Pics will be posted to set the story straight.
