Which out of production car(s) would you most want Ferrari to bring back?

Imagine Ferrari decided one day to dust off the older FCar designs and bring them back into production.

No updated electronics, no new brakes, no new emission controls (pretend they could do this), no new safety equipment. Ignoring the affect this would have on collectors, they just start producing the old cars exactly the way they were when first released. Now imagine you're in the showroom and you see some brand new Daytonas, Testarossas, 275's, and 250gto's next to the current Ferrari lineup. I want to know which car(s) would you would most want to have in your garage.

I prefer that they just bringing out new ones. Leave it to Ford, Chrysler, GM, Shelby, etc...to make retro, heritage, replica cars.

I have no problem creating one exact replica of a unique car that was destroyed/lost in the past, but creating new versions of an old car simply dillutes the value of the old car while never quite recreating the magic.

I've long said "I'd rather have a real piece of crap than a very nice replica."

Personal opinion though.

 

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but you can have pretty much any out of production Ferrari you want now, in like-new condition, if you have the cash.

If you're saying I could have a brand new Lusso for $14K, that wouldn't be bad...

I interpreted it a different way... would you pay current F-car $$$ for a classic F-car. I.E., would you pay $300K for a 250GT cal spyder...

 

Its an interesting thought, but it would have to be a real classic, like a 250GTO, or 250LM, something along those lines

 

This is a very good question. I would love to see brand new 250 GTO's, but have reservations about this because if Ferrari produces more the cars might lose their allure because of their original exclusivity

If i was in the market to spend $300k on a new Ferrari and this option was available, i would definitely take a new "classic".

As far as which i would like to see remade, too many options, all the classics are great, but to pick one, the 288GTO.

250 GT California Spider SWB sounds like a great choice to me. And if they'd bring out the 250 GT Lusso, I'd buy that too.

The one car i would think would be fun would be the 166 Barchetta...i would have to lose 60lbs first though to squeeze in

 

I'd want a 328 -- WITH stability/traction control, ABS, 500 HP, a working AC and a decent sound system & soundproofing, and a 7 speed manual
