    On the 24 Hour Jackass Takeover and Matt Hoffman's Tribute to Evel Kneviel had a guy jump out without a parachute. He had a solid 45 seconds of freefall without a parachute or any contact with another skydiver. By far one of the craziest things I've heard of. Way too easy to have the grasp of each other ripped out from your hands/arms/legs when the rip cord is pulled.

    After the 45 seconds, another skydiver connected himself to the crazy guy with some kind of a harness. They weren't just holding onto each other.

    Still though... I would never try it.

    What was his altitude when he jumped? Must've been really cold with that wind chill, lol. I predicted my death by skydiving so I won't be trying that anytime soon.

    Well.........having jumped out of a perfectly good airplane many a time "with" a parachute (in itself a somewhat risky venture)........all I can say it that is dumb.

    I made a few jumps back in the 70's and was terrified even with all the right equipment on.

    I knew a guy, Dar Robinson (now deceased) who succesfully made a jump from one plane went into freefall and caught another plane that was in a dive, without a parachute. That took courage.

    Yeah a guy I know use to ride bikes with him back in the day. Travis is a crazy mofo. I have a whole film on his life and hes just a cool guy.
