Theera, Please post any pictures from the Christmas party. I finally just got to Thailand (contract took forever with the attorneys) but am out in Rayong. This trip only here until 20 December but will be back in late February. Hopefully during my time here I can catch up with some of the F-chat crowd. Jeff Kennedy
Dear Jeff, Thanks for your interest in our New Year Party. At the end about 140 people and 45 ponies showed up to the event last Saturday at Pullman Hotel. It was a success and if you're interested to see the pics then better logon to our www,ferrariclubthailand.com and have a look at the related thread in the forum. Sorry but there's too many for me to load on to this forum. See you, Theera
Hi guys, I will be travelling in Thailand in late March and early April 2008. It has been interesting reading this thread and seeing the Ferrari highlights of Thailand. Will there be any events going on around the dates that I will be in the country?
We might be going up to Khao Yai National Park for a day trip, distance about 140km, again like last year. Another option is Hua Hin beach resort that 170km down south. Prior to arrival I suggest that you logon to the forum of www.ferrariclubthailand.com for details of trip and how to join.
Yesterday I was in a neighborhood that was west of Don Muang (near a university). Saw something that was badges as a Ferrari but did not recognize it (I was in the back seat and it was headed in the opposite direction). Looked to be of 1958 to about 1963 vintage but not a standard body. Much more squarish in shapes and a blunt type of nose with a grill texture like an old Ghia. Anybody know this car? Jeff Kennedy
Let me guess, it was a red Lancia with beige seats, and let's not forget the scuderia shield on the sides......if it's that car then it originally came from my back yard, sold many years ago to a Ferrari enthusiast that couldn't afford the real pony

Holy cow! Those are some serious machines & very expensive ones.... how's the drive, where do you guys normally head to? I have a Bangkok trip coming up in the next few months.
Next big one is at the end of this month......its a drive to the beach.....expecting a herd of ponies
From the usual sunday morning drive kup. All owners are from FCT and some of them are around here. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just decided with Aun (430 Spyder) this morning that we will be heading 100km to Bang Saen for seafood at S&P on Sunday 30th. Will talk to the owner later today to arrange for the private area and also permission for me to cook for you guys on that day. By the way, you better turn up for the FCT Challenge next Saturday.....
Theera, did you drive the Veyron? just wondering what she feels like...more like GT? ( freaking fast GT )I guess with all that weight. How does it feel compared to LP640..handling wise?
Sorry to say that I wasn't the one with the Veyron so I'm not able to tell you how it was to drive. From what I hear, it's "out of this world" to drive, but then again different people have different ideas about what's "out of this world". It's also a fact that I would have to sell off my little car, my humble home, and probably my aging self to afford it.......so not a probable idea
