Around here where I'm at, we have quite a selection of nicer vehicles, and a good few exotics. I personally own a 71 Porsche, and a newer GT500. My neighbour, however, owns a Maserati Gransport, and a 2006 (I think) GT2. When it gets done with this terrible weather, we'll finally have time to drive our treasures around.
Just come up 3 hour north, you will see Premier Motorcars of Sioux Falls...all we sell is Lamborghini and Ferrari! www.premier-motorcars.com Sioux Falls South Dakota will surprise you with number Murcielago's, Gallardo's, 360's, Bentlys, and all other exotics running around!
Yeah, but you see: we don't want to buy, we want to hang around all day, talk cars, and take 'em out for a spin..
And thats what we want to do as well..but we need an excuss... People hang out and talk cars at our dealership all day everyday...we love it!!!!
We are not your tyipcal car dealership..we do not even look like a dealership...we have fun and are real cars guys...Feel free to come up anytime and spend the day! Lots of midwest Fchat guys have!!
Endy: I may be wrong, but I don't think they are going to let us take anything (of Italian heritage) out for a spin. Unless they have an old Fiat 128 around there somewhere..
LOL..you are wrong!!!! We will!! I do not sell anything that is not WOI...We are a club dealership and would love to have Omaha and Nebraska people come up!!! Minniapolis people come down all the time..
I'm just funnin' with ya..... one of these days I may need an excuse to come up there..... they used to have a regional slot car meet at a track there, I'm not even sure if the track exists anymore.
Im from around columbus and the only ferrari's ive seen in my lifetime are a testarossa, 430, and 360.
YA ..I am not sure about a slot car track!! I love slot cars...I know there are some tracks at Hobby town...a large one..and I think there is a super big one in Hartford..so i guess I know more then I thought I did...lol
And not around Columbus. I heard many years ago a car dealer in Pender, or Wisner - Pilger - had an original McLaren M8F Can-Am car, but nobody ever confirmed that to me. Where 'around Columbus' are you ? PM me if you prefer.
daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang. those can-am beasts are nuts to watch, and hear. strange place to find it too, that's for sure!
Yep. I've heard that from a handful of people, people that I know do not know each other, they are in different groups, so there must be some truth to it. I need to pursue it, I have not done that in around 15 years. It's a shame someone cannot come up with a racing series based on the old Can-Am series, with the BIG stock block motors, something more folks could afford.
A co-worker of mine captured a picture on his phone of a Mclaren M6GT driving near 72nd and L. Were plates would normally be placed, it had a "Mclaren Collection" tag.
I go up to Elkhart Lake every year to the event formerly known as BRIC... standing in the trees "at 4" and hearing those things tear through is just unreal.
