Watching CNBC this a.m., they were interviewing Warren Buffett. This happens in every interview it seems, but the hostess asked "The futures are down right now, what kind of advice can you give to nervous investors watching this morning."

Buffett laughed a little and said "Look, when I buy businesses - let's say an apartment complex - I don't get quotes from buyers every day. It might be worth more tomorrow, less the day after. I'm really only concerned with what it might be worth in 10 years."
He further added:

"Anyone who is concerned about what the 'market' is doing on a daily basis really has no business buying stocks."
