Where are you all watching this years F1 season? At home? We should think about a gathering for the races during regular hours (not 3am, etc).

I would be interested in going somewhere to watch a race with some other fans.

If you need a place to view then we could arrange to play the race in a movie theater in a condo community where I have an investment condo.

Let me know if this is of interest.

Over the years a few of the FCA members have hosted F1 partys for the live races such as Brazil/Canada/Australia that aire at some reasonable hour. I have hosted 2 of them in my home theater and usually hook up the live F1 internet feed on computer monitors though out the house too. Seems to be a popluar thing. Wife isnt too keen on having anymore anytime soon though ..we have 2 babies now.

Maybe someone else can step up and gill the void??!

We used to do it often, but towards the end the behavior of a couple of the attendees went from plain rude and uncaring about our home to downright disrespect, so we are not really inclined to open our home to a large club mob anymore, especially given some of the vitriolic attacks here on FChat aimed at some of the ex FCA members by a couple of current members. It's a pity that a few classless people ruin things for the majority, but it's simply not worth dealing with the yahoos.

That's sad. I guess the human race will never, as a whole, grow up :)

I'm sure I don't have as nice a home as 410SA or Challenge64 but I'd be willing to host an F1 event at my home.

Classless people who ruin things for the majority?? This is all truly ironic considering the source.

Well that was a neat idea...

I might consider hosting watchings in my new house, during normal hours, when it's finished. A couple of things though, I don't have a huge tv (or a huge house for that matter), and I don't have a pool (like that matters), and I live in AJ. Also, anyone disrespecting my house will be removed from the premises promptly :) I don't have a ton of parking either, well maybe until some of the other houses get built.

Should be done in a couple months. I'll come back then to talk about it more.
