i kept telling myself i'm keeping my car but i think i am about there. if the new dct transmission avoids the gas guzzler tax that will put me over the edge. anyone want a clean 05 m3?

Nice write up. I'm expecting my coupe in a couple of months. The order just got pushed back a bit because everybody is ordering the dual clutch tranny. I was skeptical about the carbon fiber without the clear coating. Glad to hear a good opinion about it. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

My salesperson called me a day after faxing me my purchase order saying "sorry, the order I gave you did not include the gas guzzler tax, so I have to fax you an updated copy".

    Awesome Matt.

Your friend must work for BMWNA, this is not the first time cars have been around NJ/NY/CT which were not due for release upwards of one year.

I was told that cars are delayed because everyone is in fact ordering the optional 19inch wheels and the manufacturer cannot produce them fast enough...LOL
Amazing the BS that floats around....my car is slated for March Production....end of April....1week May delivery......but I was told that many times before....LOL...when it arrives it arrives

At Northern Highlands High School parking lot with Manufacturer plates. Sweet, very aggressive look - like a smaller M5

New BMWs tend to float around NNJ thanks to their NA headquarters.

I spotted the M6 months in advance in Ridgewood in snow.

I also spotted the 335 several months before its official announcement in Paramus at the Garden State Plaza.

    They're out there...:)

Cars are being held up because of 19's as well. No 19's in March production. Looks like you will be waiting another month or so.
