It was announced today. Front Mid engine V-8 convertible scooped by Autoweek. Ferrari's new entry level coupe may look similar to the sketch below. Expect the car to be released at the Paris Auto Show. Despite months of angry denials, sources insist that Ferrari will launch the new 2+2 coupe before the end of the year.

Always with the exaggerated wheel size and ride height. Ferrari should not have to go this route. A front mid-engine 8 cylinder? Why? Are they going to cut the mid engine 8 that has been so successful? Seems strange to me.

i dont think so i remember hearing it is just a low priced ferrari. still going to make the mid engines. they would regret it in the future if they stopped. i could be wrong but thats what i hear

Yeah, Ferrari would be dominating F1 with carburetted front-engined steel cars...

In regards to mid engine F1 cars...As F1 started using mid engined cars Ferrari said:

This will be the beginning of the end. Increased prices for new car with dealer buy backs and required loans will be the end of the deal for them.. No advertising and all that. I think Ferrari is screwing up with all the bull and now the new car. They are following the steps of Mercedes.

Very good, I was tyring to think of this one.

Wouldnt this new car be "mid engine" anyway if it were behind the front axel?
