Joe, remember the GTO that had it's debut on Mrs. Orcutt's driveway in June 1985? $125,000 for the GTO which was only $10,000 more than a Testarossa back then. How long did Jere Clark of Phoenix keep that one? CH
Are you referring to # 56191? From my records I have this GTO to be equipped with black interior, air con and power windows. Supplied new to Jerry Clark, Arizona, it was featured on the cover of the September 1985 issue of "Car & Driver" In January 1986 and after only 900 kms it went to Albee Levine in New York. Paul
Thank you Paul, that is indeed the one! While not on Mr Clark's example; their is a photograph included in the article of what appears to be red LEATHER inserts on the seats of another GTO. CH
Had a rosso corsa/nero one myself for a short period in 1985--paid $68,000, sold more than double--needed funds. OH WELL
Well if you invested the circa 150K you probably beat values of GTOs over a 23 year period. 6 or 7% gets you to today's GTO value. Of course the value of ownership for that same period might meet Mastercard's definition of priceless
