Ferrari's on CraigsList.... a 308 replica (Pontiac Fiero) http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/car/592983888.html (overpriced?) 1986 328 GTS ($47,000) http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/car/595298078.html ~shahedc . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This definitely overpriced 328 has been on ebay recently too. I spoke to the dealer a few weeks back and politely suggested he was asking too much for the milage, to which he responds of course 'well you haven't seen it in person, how immaculate it is...' If it's the same auction I recall I think they had an offer for 43 and they countered 44 and the bidder walked. The seller (dealer) offered me the same 44 - no thanks.
If the car had 25K the price would be reasonable wouldn't it? So at 60+ K, how much less should he be selling it for?
I concur with this. I have been watching very closely for the last month +, and I believe for the year and milage a reasonable price would be somewhere around 35K - at least I wouldn't pay more than 35 for it. A very very good condition 88 near me just went for $40K, with 1/3rd the milage. Others have been selling around the country for similar relative amounts.
Yep... all you need is 1 buyer to sell an overpriced item. Think about everyone who bought an SLR-McLaren at MSRP... or even a Dodge Viper. ~shahedc .
