I should have bought MORE cars...

I don't know if anyone else feels the same way these days... I had been thinking about buying a CS, but after going on a big upgrade (bought a SA and a GT3RS) in the fall I decided to put some money to work in some bonds and stocks. HA! At least I would have some fund driving and looking at the cars!

 

NO KIDDING! It will take a decade for my 401k to dig itself out of this one! JEEZ! I KNEW I should have got out when the market was near/at 14k! Hind sight is 20/20 isn't it?! SUCK!

I dont have much in my 401k, relative to some other folks on FChat, but I did move 80% of it to money market account equivalent and left the remainder in S&P tracking.

Luckily, I havent been too bad, but then again, I'm risk averse, which is why I own a 308 and will never own a new Ferrari (hey, maybe a 360 when they drop to 60k ).

BTW - James aka PCar928fan, nice set of cars you have. GTS's rock. I've always liked the mid-engine cars though, former 914 and Boxster S owner myself.

Unless you moved it to foreign currency, gold or oil lease... it still sucks considering where the Dollars has been going...

 

True as well! I have never seen the dollar suck this bad! For those of your across the pond it should make vacations here in America VERY AFFORDABLE!

 

Yes, I am looking forward to coming over to the US again, always have a great time there.

I feel for you guys but for me I wish that the troubles may long continue as I am a gold miner and my company's stock has more than doubled in 5 months. After a decade in the doldrums it's finally fun to be in mining again. Swings and round-abouts, I suppose.
