I'm getting ready to put my refinished 355 wheels on my 348 and I have a question. I would like to know if I need the rubber ring that goes between
the wheel and the hub? The rubber ring mounts on the 355 wheel. What is it for anyway?
    TIA

Seals the hub to the flange. Prevents water from finding it's way in and corroding the different metals. Expensive part!

The 355 wheels are magnesium which is more prone to corrosion than the aluminum 348/360/430 wheels. That is why they have that rubber gasket/seal. Ricambi has them if you lose any.

Ricambi has the seals for $242.00 each. I searched extensively. Daniel had far and away the lowest price!
Appears to be a Speedline part made specifically for Ferrari(?)

Isn't the rubber ring to keep the front wheels from turning backwards?

I think = 161927, but you might also need part number 167139 [ @ $3 ] to complete each set. Ricambi will know.

    amazing costs!!!!

Found them, three were on the wheels, one is at the shop that refinished the left rear.

    I feel better now :)

Funny I never noticed them before

Hmmm. $1000 for 4 little rubber pieces to prevent "corrosion" on the inside of a rim? I think I'll take my chances.

I need to save my money so that I can buy something more important like insurance for my dog's teeth.

I went down to the wheel shop that refinished my wheel to get the rubber gasket, guess what?
They said they had lots of them, how many did I want, they had thrown a bunch away a little while ago.

You should have seen the look on their faces when I told them what Ferrari got for one!

    Anyway, I’m all set now
