Don't have a Ferrari (yet) to bring the lady out with, but I've been to City Hall several times and have always enjoyed the experience. We'll grab a steak and then listen to the "piano bar" for awhile. Food is always spectacular.

I got engaged to my wife a few years back at La Fontanella, so that place is very special for us. We also love going to Pizzeria Bianco is also a great place. I recommend both highly! (Prepare for a long wait at Bianco)

Mastro's on Pima used to be my favorite, but they sold recently and it has lost some of the magic. They now try to upsell you on everything (crab, etc...) when you are already buying $50 steaks. It is annoying. Seems like they got their marketing plan from a timeshare company.
Now, I prefer the Desert Mountain clubs, but they are private. Try Sazi (sp?) near the four seasons. Really classy, hidden place.

Bianco is great but 3 hours is too long for me.

At the risk of derailing the "Ferrari" element of this thread......if you like Pizzeria Bianco, try Humble Pie at Scottsdale and Rose Ln.

Not a fan of Sassi, but to each their own. Been there several times and I always find the food extremely over priced (except in the summer when they offer their dinner and wine specials).

Service there is always very nice though, and the location is beautiful. I just don't think that the food is worth the price.

I used to be a huge fan of the Roaring Fork, but Robert McGrath sold it a while back and the quality has dropped. Luckily we got McGrath to cater the rehearsal dinner for my wedding before he sold. Green chili pork stew is the best.

Now I am left wondering, what is my favorite (non-chain) restuarant... Vincents is pretty good...

Thumbs up on Veneto Trattoria. We ate there last Saturday night. City Hall was on Friday. And the famous "Cars & Coffee" event was on Saturday morning. Overall, a great long weekend in Scottsdale.

You can also try Francos. His restuarant is just north of Sassi. Hes at the NW corner of Jomax and Alma School in north Scottsdale. He used to own Un Bacio. It is a much better alternative to Sassi.

I really enjoy the Roaring Fork. It is right off Scottsdale Rd. about 1/2 mile north of Scottsdale Fashion Square.

I have to say El Charro on the base of Mummy Mtn on Lincoln. Good food, and great "old school" atmosphere to just chill.

And their always seem to be at least one F-car in the lot...

Thanks for the tip. We tried Veneto Trattoria last week. Very nice place, good food, friendly staff. Most of their pasta is home made.

We plan to go there again and plan to bring the Ferrari next time. Looks like they can accomodate safe parking for expensive cars. In fact there was a black 599 parked there when we arrived. I also like the fact that you can sit outside near the car...

I would guess that that black 599 was 410SA's car.
