Miei fratelli... what an exciting day it has been for me today! I've been lurking on F-chat for several months and after much searching I found the perfect 328 GTB right in my own backyard. The snow finally cleared here in New Hampshire and after about 24 hours of rain (perfect for washing all of the salt off the roads) the sun came out and I not only picked her up but drove her home!!! I wound up putting nearly 100 miles on her because I just didn't want to stop driving!

Anyway, thanks to the many that have contributed to my education here on F-chat. A special thanks to Fastradio for his wise counsel and expert PPI and to HustonM3 for taking such good care of his F-car before I showed up on his doorstep. The car absolutely looks brand new!

A few pics...I'll try to post more...

Sweet ride! Still lots of snow in most of NH. Hope it thaws fast in your area.

    Lookin' good!

We had an incredible weekend out here in SoCal (after lots of rainy weekends last month) -- and finally got to take mine out for a real drive. There is no substitute!

Congrats -- 328s are the best.

Congratulations Jim, however, since in the Italian language a car is feminine, it is Bambina Nuova, or more like it: Una Nuova Bambina.

Ahhhh. Reminds me of my first time. I've never heard of an unsatisfied 328 owner.

Very nice 328. I'm guessng its an '88, since it has the concave wheels and the Ferrari insignia on the mirrors? How many miles are on your car? Red black is always a great combination, I hope you will post more pix soon. I'm pretty sure there is another red/black GTB in NH, but its an 89. He and I compared notes at the Tutto the last 2 years as we both have red 89's, but his is a GTB. You should bring yours to the Tutto Italiano on August 3rd. The last 2 years there were only one or two 328GTBs at the show. Enjoy it, its a beauty.

    Best regards,
    Dino

Auguri, Jim - and welcome to the NH GTB club! I'm sure Mark was sad to see that car go. I've seen that car in person, and it's stunning. Spring's right around the corner.....enjoy.

Thank you...a nice long ride to Canada would be great! The interior is black--the pics have seat covers on.

Hi Dino...Yes, you are right it is an '88. It has only 12,000 miles on it, and I must say a neighbor came over last night (who knows nothing about Ferraris but has and appreciates nice cars) and thought it was new! It really shown virtually no signs of wear, inside or out. I was amazed when I first saw it--and still am!

I think I would enjoy Tutto and may indeed come if I can get away.

    Thanks for the kind words,

    Hi Carmine...grazie!

Mark was indeed a good steward. Everything about the car shows how much he loved it.

I told him though, he can visit anytime. We live only about 20 miles from each other. Small world.

I know that car personally. I am friends with one of its former owners (prior to the gentleman you bought it from). I can confidently say that you just bought one of the nicest 328's (GTB or GTS) in the country! That car is gorgeous. Best of luck.
