    Can anyone tell me what the dimensions are (diameter and height) of a 308QV tappet is.

    Are you asking for the diameter and thickness of the shims? (The bucket has more than a single height dimension to different features)

    If so, the nominal shim diameter is 29mm on the 4V heads, and the nominal shim thicknesses vary from a minimum of 3.7 mm to 4.35 mm

    I would like the outside diameter of the tappet and the height. Not the shim. I am trying to determine if these can be adapted to a Lancia Stratos 4 valve engine.

    They are 33mm OD and about 28mm long/tall off the top of my head.

    The 16V integrale bucket is identical to the 2v 308 bucket ,I compared them just last week .

    The 308QV/328 WSM gives the diameter as 32.984 min - 32.990 max

    The don't give the overall height, but perhaps you can scale the drawing on page B23 to confirm Mark's data:

    that's a 37mm OD then.

    The QV buckets measure 33mm OD x 30.22mm long
    The 2V buckets measure 37mm OD x 30.5mm long

    I appreciate the feed back on the dimensions of the tappets. I won't be able to use the tappets as I need 35mm tappets for the 4 valve per cylinder heads. Thank you very much for the information.
