    Hey all,

I've been posting on this forum for a few months now and I love this community.

Another Fcar enthusiast and I are heading to Las Gatos on monday 3/10/08 to tuesday 3/11/08. I just wanted a heads up on any potential meetings like cars & coffee or something on those dates. I'm definitely going to the dealerships to check out their inventory (I heard there is a red bugatti veyron there) but other then that we're just going to be hanging out around downtown!

Hope to hear from someone soon

    Thanks,

    Dan Baker

I don't know of any meets on Monday and Tuesday. Definitely go to both Silicon Valley Auto Group locations. They actually have 2 Veyrons right now. All red and a blue/black version too.

Itys actually LOS Gatos .. but there is the Lambo dealer on Santa Cruz Ave. and the Ferrari "dealer" on Main Street (its Bentley/AM/Saleen/Bugatti/you-name-it). Hit the Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company .. get a latte and enjoy the park on the corner of Main and Santa Cruz Ave.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, and sorry for the misspelling's.

The Bentley/AM/Saleen/Bugatti dealership you mention is the one we are going to. My buddy says it has everything you can imagine -- Ferraris, Aston Martins, Bugatti, Saleen, and even an occasional Mclaren F1. I suppose we'll just hangout and watch the cars drive by + checkout the dealerships. We're staying @ one of his dad's houses and we're actually going down there for other reasons, however, it would be nice to meet up with some people.

    Thanks

Oh, and people watch too. Lots of beautiful women there...unfortunately, many are with another man.

Not to mention some screw ball that drives everything from an alloy body CA Spyder, Daytonas, Lusso, GTO, F40, etc. to the local burger joint. Parks right next to riff-raff.

Los Gatos is a wonderful place to live.

when I worked there, every week you'll see a Ferrari by accident. Then I would visit the dealership in downtown during lunch sometimes to get a closer look :D

Would you happen to the screw ball driving either a Silver 250 GT Lusso or Red 275 GTB around Los Gatos yesterday? Both were gorgeous!

God it was amazing. I went to the dealership and saw both bugatti veyrons, 2 saleen S7's, heard a porche cerrari GT starting, f40, etc.

I only saw an F430 on the road, though.

Overall an amazing visit for only a few hours! The employees at Silicon Valley Auto Group are very helpful and friendly as well. 5 stars.

    You eat too many burgers.

And I think riff-raff in Los Gatos is "upper class snob" everywhere else...

    Nah, Steve who?

I'm just a devout Hindu campaigning against the consumption (as in eating, not as in tuberculosis) of beef. And obviously this Steve person eats a lot of burgers as is evidenced by his sideways 3rd person referral to himself as someone who drives a fancy-a$$ parade of cars to "the local burger joint*."

Do you know why you eat those burgers, Steve? It's because you're weak!! (Let those words ring in your ears for some time...)

    Nick

PS: I'm really trying to work on the smoking...

    * Is the local burger joint actually good? If so, I'll have to check it out.

Try out the Happy Hound over on Los Gatos Blvd. near Blossom Hill Rd. VERY good burgers, hot dogs, and fries.

+1 on Happy Hound. Main Street Burgers is quite good as well, but it can get crowded.
