    Okay my turn seriously:

I've done many silly speeding things, like passing other cars on the grassy medium strip, over 3 times the speed limit, etc. but the best story I think has to be this one.

Years ago I left a pub after playing a pool competition with a female friend. We were both pissed. I went to get my van and as I was driving it back I thought I'd do a little show off and pulled the handbrake on a bit, intending to do a nicely controlled slide in a straightish line up to where she is waiting. Used to do this all the time. Well ofcourse I was going a lot faster than I should have been, thanks to the alcohol and pulled the handbrake on a way too much so we did a full 180 degree spin ... right around, yes dead serious! in this narrow one way road with cars parked each side. Not one car was touched and my van was covered in tyre smoke.

I get out, feeling a bit silly, but also pretty happy that I'd pulled off this stunt but my friend would not get in the van ... understandably. So there we are arguing a bit on the footpath, my van is still running and a cop pulls up ... tyre smoke settling. Remember my van is now facing the wrong way on a one way street, and he asks me what is going on. I explain that my friend and I are having a little argument ... and he tells me to get my van out of the way and properly parked ... that is all!!.

Amazing ... the tyre smoke smell was still hanging in the air, but ofcourse who am I to argue, so park it I did ... and then we walked home :). At that stage probably the first time I didn't drive home pissed. Ofcourse don't drive pissed anymore, my wife put a gentle stop to that ...

I drew a .357 mag and took aim at the face of a burglar.

He thought I was bluffing until I cocked it, steadied my right eye and took aim.

Many things can happen in milliseconds. Your decision to go home alive is one...your decision to protect your family is another.

    Yeah, I pulled the trigger.

Same.. especially when she told me she stopped taking the pill (after I was done of course).

Got stuck on a ski lift for ~1h, was freezing by the time I got off (morning, cold, wind etc.) Went to the toilet as I REALLY had to go... what a surprise, I couldn't find my Johnson. From all the cold it had nearly completely retracted into my body - didn't know it can do that :) Smart guy!

VR6 started with mk III golfs. Or was this a swap?

I saved two small kids at the same time, I was a lifeguard, they were going under for the 3rd time, by the time I got to them....problem started a quarter mile from my tower.

Luckly, a big tall guy came half-way out into the water, and helped me when I was getting close to shore. Its pretty hard to swim with a kid in each arm.

For 3 years I sat on that chair with nothing to do (but look at girls) finally for one-split-second all the time invested paid off!

Unfortunately, this has happened to me more than once:

Reading a 5 year old thread, wondering how to respond...

and then reading your own answer to a question and going, "oh yeah, that's a good answer, I forgot about that..."

Ran from the cops at 130+ for about five minutes until I lost them with my girlfriends sister in the car. One of the scariest feelings ever.

2 chicks at the same time

winning a Red Strip beer chugging contest by drinking four in less than 60 seconds. I was reaaalllly sick after that one.

Diving into a waterfall in Jamiaca and the water was so cold that my skin felt like it had pins in it.

Drinking so much at my bachelor party that i passed out right after the strippers got started and no one till this day will tell me anything about the party.

Give me time, I will thing of more stupid stuff. :)

I think the stranger thing here is that this person was driving a 2002 BMW in 1982. Time travel is certainly a unusual thing!
