One of the more exciting "real" cars at the motor show in my opinion.

Lancia once stood for innovation. They have produced some great cars in their history but in the last 20 years have been allowed to slowly whither away. I hope it goes into production, and I hope to see an Integrale compete in WRC soon :)
Lets hope the fate of this car isn't that of the beautiful Fulvia concept a few years ago. That really should have gone into production.

Go to 'current models' here and chose Delta

I'm not impressed... maybe the problem is that I look at it as a Delta successor and I just don't see it filling the original's boots. Maybe if they had given it a different name..

I know what you mean. Sometimes i'm a bit cynical when a car company resurects a great name.
But the original Delta was simply a small family car, as this is. It's if and when they release an Integrale that it gets exciting.
Just the fact they have a Delta in the plans means the chances of a fierce 4wheel drive rally monster are closer than I thought.

The back does look very nice :)

At 4,5m it's actually quite big... and I think with the direction Lancia is heading (ie trying to be a more "luxury" brand) there is a small chance that an Integrale will appear :(

My first car was a Lancia Delta in 1990, in white colour like the pics unit, the old Delta is a mithycal car with thousands victories in rallyes for all the world, the new delta is a family car but is in my opinion beautiful, is different to the rest, for example, the new subaru imprezza is horrible, is like a hyundai or kia, is a car without personality, the Lancia Delta have many personality no doubt. regards from Spain.

A nice "family car" no doubt but definetly not as exciting as the original.
