If you use the photos for anything other than private use you will get kicked off Ferrarichat. That should fix the problem. I will post some of my color decal placement guides for my Ferrari Daytona #37 model car kit if anyone wants them. They show side, front, top and rear of the car. Tom Tanner/Scale Designs
...and it will be for my private use. Scusi, i just meant to make a compliment, and if possible, to use it on my PC desk .
Here is a small selection of pix taken in 1971 at Pierre Bardinon's Mas du Clos. This is Pierre's week-end estate, and includes a museum and private race-track, as well as a very nice banquet hall. The Club Ferrari France used to have an annual event there (still?), using the track and banquet hall. Quite a gathering. I have been fortunate enough to have attended several times, and have met a number of interesting characters there. Pierre and his family are lovely people. The cars in the museum do occasionally get bought or sold---the proprietor, technically, is the Association Collection Mas du Clos. Sorry about the lighting; maybe someone knows how to lighten these up. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A few more: Pierre in his 250TR with Jess Pourret, some of the track, and a very small part of the estate. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
WOW!!! Thank you very much for posting those pics. I always wondered how his museum looks like. Now I know (at least how a small part looks) Martin
Since 1971, things have changed. Some "Strained relations " into the family. The fine collection is not as complete and some very beautiful "Museum pieces" have been negotiated since. Pierre Bardinon takes on the age and the interests of his sons are not exactly the same as their father !

Hi David, As a highly respected member of this forum and particularly this thread, i think it is a shame that people are taking liberties with your photos. I would like to know about this person (by e-mail/PM if you prefer), as my own photos that i own are properly registered as mine and i will happily go about legal action. I have just completed a book project(not F-car related) and it would have been so easy for me to lift photos belonging to people, but i have worked damn hard to personally contact everyone first and apply for permission. It doesnt take much of an effort, and is the gentlemanly and legally correct way of going about things. I hope this doesn't affect you posting your wonderful photos here, even if you have to go overboard with copyright labels. best Paul.
I have been shocked to learn how wreckless so many authors are. There is a certain English author that requested photos of a certain subject matter of which I sent him about 80 for his review. No follow up, thank you, nothing!! Then there is the guy that had me chase my tail for Bruce McLaren photos and purchased nothing! Since the inseption of this thread no less than 5 authors have lifted photos right off the thread and published them. They all say the same thing," I did not know where they came from or who owned the copyrights". Are these guys idiots? I am sorry but I am a bit disgusted.
Well i think it's disgusting too David. All i can say is that behind every author is a Publisher, and Publishers do not like bad feedback. My first move would be to contact the publisher and ask to see their declaration of contributers. I had to sign a form for my book that agreed under their conditions that all copyright permissions had been granted for publication. If they have a form that has that agreement, then you are fully in your rights to take the publisher to court and i can assure you that they will not win.
Maybe F-Chat could water mark the photo's as they are uploaded, so we could still enjoy them and they could not easily be copied?? I think it is only a mater of time before legal action is taken by someone if photo's have been lifted for commercial use. The photos on this site make it the best site i have found. Fantastic pic's Ed. i would have loved to have been there. Grant
It always gives me great pleasure to share the pictures with other enthusiasts and FChat is the best place to do. Watermarks ruin the experience, I believe. Thanks for the sentiments.
Hello everbody, I read to you for a long time, but it is the first time which I post!!! On our forum which processes as 24 hours of Le Mans and also as miniatures, we have a problem about Ferrari 250 GTO n°19 LM52. Below, two photos, you fast go to understand(include)!!! The question is : the border next to the red band of the French flag, is it white or yellow??? Have you photos to be able to close the debate??? Attention, both photos do not belong to me, thus COPYRIGHT on somebody. Thank you for your searches(researches). Sorry for my English, but it is the computer which translates. L'Antoine de Limoux. For me that photo closes the debate - the thin stripe is white. M Ruf got it wrong. And IIRC this question was also discussed before on FChat? Nathan

Indeed he did. Just trying to work out if he's in the process of overtaking J Sparrowe early in the race in the Morgan or lapping the poor fellow.
