Hey everyone, is there a place most of you go to watch F1? Or you just watch it at home? I don't know any place around where people unite to watch a F1 race...if anybody know any bar, restaurant, etc. Let me know please...Or maybe a meeting could be arranged if enough people want to.

really? I was going to listen to it with my transitor radio in the back of the pick up truck. A case of Natural Ice and some White Castle. Doesn't get any better

Can we stop at Cafe Royale before hand?

I can blow off the late shift at Applebee's. If I have to cook up any more 'Riblets' I'm gonna vomit.

ESPNZone Times Square doors close at midnight, venue closes at 1am.
I think the race starts at 12:30 ET unless www.formula1.com is mistaken.

A place on 110 on LI would be great.
Looking for Kubica make an impression.

I have to go for my compatriots Massa, Barrichello and Piquet JR. Hope one of them go to the podium tonight!

What? That was a SPECTACULAR race. Sure it would have been WAY better of the Scuderia won, but I thought that the race was FANTASTIC.

It's gonna be one helluva season...

As usual an exciting start!...5 cars lost before 1st lap complete.....Kubica was not as impressive as Nick......Rosberg showed a little fire.....Sebastien Bourdais???...WTF...sorry but that man is outclassed in both car and driving....Indy Car/CART is not F1.....The F-Car of Kimi was freaking FAST!...so fast his brakes locked up as he pulled a great pass but could not complete it....but he moved up the pack quite well....
Looks like the same players this year once again....can't wait.

It was quite interesting to see Rubens Barichello doing so well in his first race of the 08 season. Massa really disappointed me...

IMO a few years from now I think you may regret saying this. With a couple of years worth of experience and a top ride he can and will be a contender for the championship.

Exciting race it was but it looked like amateur hour out there without the aid of traction control. It would be nice to see more than 6 cars finish a race.

    Waaaaaaaaah! Waaaaaaaaah! Waaaaaaaaah!

    The race was fantastic. Period.

Yes, I'd rather that Ferrari finished 1-2... but c'mon look at these standings:

    DRIVER STANDINGS

    01 Lewis Hamilton, 10
    02 Nick Heidfeld, 8
    03 Nico Rosberg, 6
    04 Fernando Alonso, 5
    05 Heikki Kovalainen, 4
    06 Kazuki Nakajima, 3
    07 Sebastien Bourdais, 2
    08 Kimi Räikkönen, 1

    CONSTRUCTOR STANDINGS

    01 McLaren-Mercedes, 14
    02 Williams-Toyota, 9
    03 BMW, 8
    04 Renault, 5
    05 STR-Ferrari, 2
    06 Ferrari, 1
    07 Toyota, 0
    08 Super Aguri-Honda, 0

Fast driving. Good crashes. Lots of action. Drama... I cannot wait for the race in Kuala Lampur!

Somehow I doubt that...He has experience...**** he was champ car 4 times...PLEASE!!...and please do not speak about TOP RIDES...Schumi won his first F1 championship with Benetton....not exactly a top ride.
While I would agree that some teams are unfortunately way underfunded...and underdeveloped...that is the game..not all are created equal in that respect...hence the rules that govern all.
In fact I would propose no TC is a great equalizer....allows some of the underdogs to perhaps gain something if their driver is capable.
Makes you wonder how the truly GREAT drivers: Ascari, Nuvolari, Hill, Ickx, Stewart ever managed what they did without traction, Sequential gearboxes & the like???....
As a complete aside....Schumi was faster in the rain when he turned off the TC in his car during time trials for a race...LOL
    Regards

I missed the first 30 mins as I rushed home to catch the race (girlfriend took her sweet time at her house) and I was unable to watch the race as closely as I would have liked. But I find races to be more interesting when more than 6 cars finish. But again, this is what I get for listening to my father who briefly summed up the first 30 minutes of the race. Oh well, I will watch the next upcoming race.
