You have to get up prettyyyyy early to…… :)

I don’t get as much sleep as I’d like and little one has only been napping an hour 15 to 30 this week instead of 2 so my shop time has been greatly reduced. I’m think I need to add another hour of shop time after he goes to bed, so 1 less hour to sleep…but the project will start moving a little faster then.

I got the back end of the enigne cut. The pins were a bugger to get out, I finally just drilled them to about a .015" wall and crushed them. Then I moved on to cutting the bores to accept the new liners which will probably take at least until next weekend at the I'm guessing. Then it will look like an engine block again instesad of a welded mess.....that will make me happy.

I had it happen once, the lil sob went all the way down inside my boot and rolled under my foot. Then I subconciously stepped down on it. Burned me real good. Besides burning his prick and setting his balls on fire, hes really asking for it with those boots. lol

I just made a quick list of all the major stuff I still need to buy for this project.....almost $15000....I shouldn't have made the list, I was much happier when I had no idea :(

The good news (I guess) is that after I made the "to buy" list I made a "to sell" list, which also came to $15k, so I'm not in trouble with Lana just yet.......

I don't have the email yet.

    I've got:
    400i heads
400i rods (if I decide to change them out)and pistons- the rods are the same as 308 and I think the pistons are same as 2v 308
    308 QV heads, ported
Harley XR race bike (it has a valid street title)

I'm trying to decide how brave I feel about the stock rods....but I'm leaning toward changing them at the moment.

Do you see the weight saving must be close to a kilo on a V8 X 1 and 1/2 on on V12 .Sounds good to me .I will try sending the mail again .

I did see the weight savings and I tracked down 12 of them.....but even used they are a lot of money. I want to spin the engine to 8500-9000 to make just plain stupid hp numbers, but I don't want to put a rod through the side of the block in the process. I'll probably buy them but I'd like the try and chew the price down a bit first.

    (got your email this time)
