WiFi will cost you nothing exept what your normal bill is as long as you have a wireless router.

The PSP (Playstation Portable) uses it too. Controls are a bit sucky though. Ipod touch and the Iphone are great.

I know this, I worded my first post badly. I was thinking about just getting a palm or just waiting till my cell phone plan is up and getting a black berry. I would just like something I can throw in my pocket and get on the internet at any place that has wifi.

I really like my iPod Touch just wish it had Flash because theres alot of sites that doesnt show everything because of that shortcomming. I really like just being able to whip out my iPod and on unsecured networks just surf away. Although it does suck when theres no WIFI around.

I noticed I used my laptop much less because of the Touchs WI-FI, but I only really use it for web surfing nowadays anyway.

I've had the Touch for a few months now. I like it. I usually use it for checking and answering emails. Locating wifi spots has not been a problem. Just got back from the Bellagio in Vegas and had no problems connecting to wifi at the pool or lobby. It sure beats carrying a lap top. Battery life is a little short if you are constantly surfing the net.

Ya not having flash kind of blows, but I'm sure they'll have an update one of these days.
