I'm so sick of people wanting something for nothing when cars are concern. It all comes down to "IF ITS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT USUALLY IS" Now with that being said everybody that thinks they are going to get a perfect 360 modena for 130k or anything less than that is out there mind.. The cars are priced that low for a reason when you get the car home and find out you are going to be crying to your pocketbook. I say this because if I was looking for any type of 360 Modena PRICE is the last thing I'm concern about I want a nice car with solid and stable service history.. The solid and stable service means:The Person who had the car can actually afford ALL the expenses of the vehicle there is no reason why owner's shouldn't maintain and service there vehicles. If you are more concern about price than the vehicles history you shouldn't be dealing with these cars from the being. People who are selling there ****ty non-serviced ferrari's needs to go away they are killing the market for people who are trying to sell who actually have great vehicles that have been maintained and taken care off. Please for people who are in the
market for 360, F430 or any ferrari for a matter of fact please put more thought into your purchase instead of just thinking "IM BUYING A FERRARI OO WOW" there is more to it than that and if you don't have your priorities in place while buying these cars you are to have a bad experience

1.WISH U NEVER BROUGHT THE CAR
2.WISH THAT YOU BROUGHT THE NICE CLEAN MAINTAIN AND SERVICED VEHICLE
3.DON'T CARE BECAUSE U PAY A CHEAP AMOUNT FOR THE CAR.(douCHBAG aNSWER)

FerrariChat is lucky to have good board sponser that have FLAWLESS CARS WITH FLAWLESS SERVICE RECORDS and ZERO HISTORY. I would definately take the piece of mind of have a solid vehicle instead of thinking how many dollars..US Currency is losing value anyways!!

Duuude. What happened to cause the rant? :)

While I agree with the overall intent of the post, I think there are some great deals on 360s under 130K. Sport Auto has a grey 99 for less than 110K with 10K miles.

Foreign Cars Italia has a couple under 130K as well (they have a grey one too for $115K). Year matters of course but I don't think you can say good 360s can't be found for under 130K.

I do agree that an incredible deal might have hidden problems and will cost more in the long term, but there are also firesales out there . The buyer has to do the homework and I always recommend a PPI.

Before I bought my ex-355 in December, I almost pulled the trigger on a 00 in NY (authorized dealer) for $125K with a factory power-train warranty (their asking price). I decided I wanted a 355 instead so we never hit the negotiating table. Looking back, I wish I had gone with the 360 (sold my 355, now I'm on the hunt).

    My humble 2 cents.

Antonio, ever visit a Baskin Robbins ice cream store? It has 31 flavors for a reason, so please spare us the dialogue on what people should and should not do. If people wish to over spend or under spend, it is there free will to do as they please. Who are you to feebly attempt to impart your diagnosed "wisdom"?

I think I know where you're coming from but I doubt you will find many on this board that do not maintain or service the cars that they own. I am one of "those" guys selling my car for what I think is a fair price and it is in the low 80K range. The reason that it's low is because that is what the market wants to pay for a driven, well maintained Euro car. I bought the car, drove it and thoroughly enjoyed the experience but am now ready to move into something else and in order for me to move the car I need to meet the market demand. Prices on the mass production cars go down, that's reality.

I sold a "perfect" 1999 360 about 1.5 years ago for $110,000. All service done, absolutely no dings and perfect paint. I am sure, as with all things, there is the full spectrum out there. Many take care of there cars and also price them fairly. We have also seen high priced frauds. Best

Excuse me sir but reality is down here! I think you should step down the pedestal and just shut up. If you got burnt by a person with a bad 360, then just post the seller and move on to the next ump-teen 360 in the market. No need to bash the other seller(s). Buy a fully serviced $300K+ F360 if you must but please dont disrespect owners who are selling their F-Cars with "normal people" prices.

130,000+ for a perfect 360 modena? not sure any of us would pay that for a 1999 or 2000 even if the car was perfect

yes, we have had a very light winter in Scotland so far. I never expected to get my (grossly inflated and rapidly depreciating but fully serviced ) spider out a dozen or so times this year all ready. Have eventually given in and ordered a rear challange grill, the Capristo was pumping out some amount of heat into the engine bay. Looks like another fine morning but a bit cold for the hood down, might be snow this weekend. Stock markets are making the spider look like my best purchase of the last year. Wonder how big a wobble we might get, hope all the banks dont go bust, it should probably be a worry. Ferrari prices arent. Have a beer.

Sorry for the rant I was upset at a car deal i was looking at that turned wrong and I've talk to other owner's outside the board and I was just getting upset because I was having trouble finding a service/maintain car under 130. There are tons of great deals out here there sorry for my rant.

Why don't you just go ahead and purchase one at the right price, then put the money you saved into the service that you think it needs? This way you know that everything is right and start to keep books on it for the next person.

I'm sorry but smart business people always get MORE than they pay for.

Like Mr. T. would say - "Only a sucka would pay full price for that paddle-shiftin rigamoroll..I pity the fool..."

And who cares about service history. I just want people to like me because I have a red sports car. They won't care if it's broken or not!

If you want to collect something I see a future for you in marbles and beenie-babies. I like to DRIVE my car, until the oil is a thick black sludge I could roof my house with, and then sell it for dirt cheap to put the down payment on my next car. THIS is the future my friends.
