    i just prefer those lenses.
they seem (to me) to slightly modernise the look of the car in a very subtle fashion.

    Joe,
...just got the info from Italy! The number-plate MI-20943 of this yellow Miura in Paris is...a fake! This number is related to a registration that was given to an Alfa Romeo Monza in........1932!!

    Ciao!

My question is how did they fit the engine in? As in a 350/400GT?

I guess you - Joe - say: stick to the bloody 327!

    ;)

    Emilio,
during my many journeys thru the Maserati Universe I came across of many cars that had -to mention only very few!- a registration of a FIAT-truck from the early 30ies with a car from the late 60ies, a single registration for 2 cars...but at the same time and even an non-possible number in the late 50ies...and even 2 cars with the same VIN!!!

Yep, you Italians are very..eh..."creative" with that!

    Ciao!

I would not say so! The Italians were always very "creative" playing around with the gouverment to avoid paying taxes!
In those days of non-computerised activities by the various gouv.-institutions this was possible. Please don`t forget that many Italian celebreties (actress Sophia Loren for example) had tax-problems at that time and had to flee their country to Switzerland, the land of milk & money! Then the political circumstances in Italy had become very difficult as the communist party was quite strong (but is was more the pasta & wine-way of communism...!!) and the Red Brigades-terrorists had just started their kidnapping activities. Molto Grande Casino in those days!

So, many reasons for wealthy Signores to keep their identity hidden...!

    Ciao!

As I can see, it's the Miura from the 1968 film "La lecon particuliere", and it's most common to put on fake names on filmstars!
