I finally have my own enclosed car transporter. It was custom built for me at TISCHER - Fahrzeugbau in Germany. The platform is equipped with extending hydraulic ramps and was designed in a way to accomodate cars with an approach angle of 7 degrees without scraping. The 430 Scuderia has an approach angle of 9 degrees.

Great machinery. I love the sliding mechanism, guess there's someone who invested some sleepless nights in designing that!

Maybe you can get the boat captain to do a little pick up and drop off for a fee and pay his salary. I like the rig. It should do the trick. When you go to Monaco take this rig and have a full bar set up for the new deck hands. Be sure to take photos for your buddies.

Very nice. I'd get it properly detailed, and then keep the miles off the transporter by using a larger truck to move it properly.

Expensive cars are a dozen a dime in Monaco... how many Ferraris park in front of the bars and clubs - and how many trucks?! :D

I rent transporters in Egypt very often, at least twice a month for transporting my cars over a distance of 1000 kms. In addition the transporters here are not in the best condition and are not enclosed.
During summer, I would like to load my Scud onto the truck and ship them both to Europe. Throughout the three months of summer I could be travelling from one end of the continent to the other (also planning on going to some car events which will be scattered all over Europe). Having that truck with a driver in Europe will help moving my Scud around.
