360 Shift linkage adjustment

    I have a 01' 360 with a non F1 trans. It's been having a problem with shifting. It shifts like butter at low to medium revs.....at higher revs it is notchy going into 2nd, 4th, and 6th. 4th being the worst. We replaced the clutch, PP, TO bearing and put in a trick kevlar lined disk. It works like a charm...better than a charm but still have the shifting problem in 2,4,6 at higher revs. Anyone have this issue and what was the fix. We think it's in the linkage...maybe the trans mounts. What do you think it is?

    It really sound like the linkage to me. I had the same problems with 2-3, and 3-2. Do a search. There is a lot of information about that. Also make sure to use the Redline gearbox oil. Helps a lot.
