If Phil does get some white powder from Stepney he will probably need some help to make sure he doesn't put it in his own car! ;)

Do both Ferrari drivers know how much fuel the other guy has on board at the start of the race? The fact that Kimi was set to go one lap further meant Massa would lose his lead soon enough. Instead he pushed too much; when both Ferrari drivers should have been pacing themselves to keep ahead of the 3rd place car. Not a smart plan that evolved during this race for the whole team even though Ferrari got a win. So this is what we get when the Italians think they can do a better job of running things?

I'm worried about the constructors championship,
not only we have reliability problems, but now we have an issue with Massa who can't drive a f1 without TC...
those 8 points were given to us, how can he blew it !!

Well, I am a Massa hater. He acts like he's been the world champ for years. His body language, his gestures and his attitude are all crap.
I cannot believe he tried to squeeze his own team mate on the first turn. Luckily Kimi took it easy, Massa would have spun out on his own (again).

I can't wait til Alonso comes on board in 2009. Massa should just test the cars and spin out all he wants on Thursdays.

    Gentlemen, calm down.

The only reason Massa is wearing red is all because of Todt; and now that Todt is out, for sure Mass will be gone too.

So all your dreams will come true. Now, spend more time on picking who you want to see in red next yr :)

LOL, i'm sure Ron is getting information from his inside sources on why Massa spun as it naturally could not have been a driver error since it is Massa and we are dumbf##ks! ;)

Foolish Felipe strikes again! Not sure why he has not been canned over the years. The Scuderia need to do what is right for the team and fire him before we lose the WDC! This has nothing to do with liking or disliking a person - it is just business.

yet he didn't say a word hinting that its his own error.

Before I didn't dislike him, but now he lost my respect.

The real question is: When will they sack him? Is he going to see the end of the season at Ferrari or could the end come quicker? And who is out there that could actually take his seat?

If Foolish Felipe cannot drive without TC and electronic aids in the dry he has no hope if it starts raining. Even with electronic aids his performance in the rain last year was pathetic. Can the Scuderia plead with Michael to come back just to finish this season???

Too many problems with FM. This guy will always be hot and cold and F will regret even more not putting a more consistent driver in the #2 seat.

+1. First thing the Scuderia need to tell him on Monday morning is that he is ONLY the # 2 driver! That will stop some of the nonsense that is upsetting the team's performance. I am beginning to wonder if any of the test drivers would be a better bet for the rest of the season. I know it is probably impossible, but it would be great if MS agreed to come back and drive the rest of the season "just for fun". He seems to still have the appetite for racing

Latin drivers are too emotional. Although this time may have
been a failure on the car, he just loses it. A year or so ago it
looked like he had settled down, but no. Even if he hadn't spun,
Kimi was still pulling away from him big time. Now with Todt gone,
the door is open to replace him as a driver, most probably Vettle.
Massa is also a bit of a whiner in the mold of Barrichello.Just
because Schumacher was mentoring him, the lessons have
    obviously not sunk in.

Wow I guess my post yesterday in the Qualifying section about, "Don't worry the little turd will somehow screw up" became prophetic that even Brian started this thread. I am actually feeling a bit sorry for Massa as he can't somehow keep it together considering he did a good job in qualifying the day before. So fellas, still not interested in having Alonso in the second seat?

Exactly. Kimi admit it was his own mistake in Australia, no BS. Massa on the other hand never admit his own mistake, which is why he will never learn from his own mistake.

Massa's spun out aside, it is evident Massa is slower than Kimi in this race. He can't pull away from Kimi in the first stint, but Kimi pull away from him after the pit stop. I can't see how anyone can argue Massa is at least on par with Kimi in this case.

He woln't say anything, he'll just wait for most of this to blow over. Every time anyone makes a strong counter argument, he ignores it and doesn't respond to the thread anymore.

    Ron is understandably lying low until they either find a Malay equipment problem or until Phil wins another GP. ;

    IMHO...

Massa can be good in quali when all he has to do is get one perfect fast lap in, is in arguably the fastest car on the grid and he doesn't have to race anyone. Massa can also sometimes do well in a race when he's on pole, is in arguably the fastest car on the grid and is so far out in front that he doesn't have to race anyone...do you see a pattern? These traits are fine for a test driver but they are not what Ferrari needs in a racing driver. I wish Massa the best results as I would do any Ferrari driver. However, I can't be blind to the facts of Massa's past results and inconsistencies. Now, with TC gone and him not being able to hide behind the driver aids...unfortunately I think he is finished this season.

I sure hope he proves me wrong but honestly, don't think he will.
