FA is an excellent driver and has done well so far with the level machinery he's been given.

Yep I think so, but LH will have the edge overall though..
    Yep, goes without saying..
    Agreed
    Again agreed
    Yes strange that
IMO If Webber hadn't done such a great job of holding him up ,and the wheel issue in the pits, he would have been on the podium.

So Lauda joins the Massa fan club? :D Just repeating what Lauda said, I still wonder how Massa managed to swing the car 'round like that...

I rather consider it strange that he couldn't get near Webber for a lot of laps... always had his 1 or 2 seconds distance, I mean, the Mercedes normally is A LOT faster than the Red Bull. Reminds me a bit of Raikkonen being stuck behind Barrichello in Melbourne.

    Massa quote;
"On lap 31, I clipped the kerb at the exit to Turn 6 and hit it quite hard and then I lost the rear end going into the next corner. We have to check to see if the impact with the kerb damaged the car. It's a real shame because we could have brought home a one-two finish.

I think his soft tyres had a graining issue as they wore, then they seemed to come back, Webber was driving well and maybe he has learnt from last year that he doesn't have to overtake everything.

BTW when Webber did pit, Lewis planned on and would have taken him only the wheel got stuck..one day it all goes right and another it doesn't ,but that what's good about it the unknown or when the planet's line up...:)

I do know that in areas in the UK, if you said that to certain communities you would have to explain very quickly what you meant to avoid a situation. But being an Ausey you may not know that, and i am not on my soap box by the way.
And Kraftwerk (Steve) being that you are from the UK you of all people should know what i am talking about. You should know that if you go into say Hans-worth or say Bradford and shout it out loud in the main streets. There would be problems;) You know what i am saying. It sounds far to similar to to "nig Nog" when spoken. That's what i thought was being referred to. Cant really blame me especially on an F1 thread on Fchat, especially after reading alot of the threads which include LH and the at times offensive views expressed here.
So now i have explained my view Moretti i apologise if i misunderstood your saying.

It seems that Peter Windsor has a thing for hamilton, maybe Hamilton is the only person who talks to him anymore on the Grid.

Brilliant race for Kimi! I was a bit surprised Ron Dennis didn't whine about the 5 spot penalties when questioned by Windsor, maybe he's trying to avoid controversy this season? ;)

Hamilton is a once in a generation talent. Given seasoning and a competitive ride he'll be unbeatable.

Given seasoning? pretty sure he was groomed by Dennis for the past nine or ten years and ended up in the best car on the grid last year.

Once again you prove how smart you are. Great Mines think alike. Over time Hamilton will show that Kimi and Fernando were good, but Hamilton is a great in the mold of Senna, Schumacher, Etc.

They weren't undue penalties. What's their to whine about? Unless you're Anthony Hamilton, and everything is a political blow against your son Jesus, err Lewis.

+1 Couldnt agree more. He needs to shut up as his son handled the whole thing quite well. He needs to leave the game and let the professionals handle the PR. He is an embarrassment to say the least. There was nothing political at all. They were on the racing line and the team agreed the penalty was fair considering. That being said Lewis was brilliant in his move around a few cars on the first lap and he has greatness.
If he was in another car we wouldnt be devoting so much space to him here. He still needs to win a WDC. As was stated by Nigel Mansell recently... Lewis isnt another Tiger Woods- he is one of a few drivers who, in the right in equipment would be winning. He isnt the single best driver in F1 today. There are others clearly in his league. The winner of Malaysia would be the best driver in F1 period.Kimi.
