I just got off the phone with Specialized Italian Recycling, my experience was as follows:
I called to inquire about a part for my 348, the phone is answered and I am asked if I can hold. After five boring minutes of listing to their recordings, I hear an abrupt and quite loud clunk, which was the sound of me being hung up on! No problem, these things happen, I figure it was most definitely a mistake. I proceed to redial their number and call them back, "ring, ring.....", the recoding comes on, "Thank you for calling Specialized Italian recycling, at this time we are currently closed please stay on the line and leave a message, we value your business greatly". None the less I proceed to leave a message working my way through the menu system, alas I arrive at the voice mail box! "Please leave us a message at the tone", abruptly interrupted by "this voice mail box is full, you cannot leave a message at this time!"

If this is the care with which they value our business greatly, as they state; they come up quite short! My money is better spent on a company who does not inconvenience and avoid their customers.

I love how they're asking absolute top dollar for used parts that were in a car fire (Ebay)!! Or $1600 for a used OEM header that may be failed inside already? HA!

Not to mention the absolutely outrageous prices they slap on their so called "repairable" wrecks! It takes examples like this to show us know how lucky we are to have the others...
I believe at one point I recommended them to a fellow F-chatter, for that I owe my sincere apologies.

I cannot say how great Don at FerrParts has been to me for used parts. He has always given me a great price & on one order, where he thought he had the used part, he found out that the part had already been sold... he got me a brand new piece at no additonal cost. As everyone knows, Daniel at Ricambi has been great for new parts. Again, we do have some of the best parts suppliers for the ridiculously expensive parts that we have to purchase for these cars! Good luck! Judd

You should see the 360 steering wheel they have onm ebay. They want $400 for it but it is bent. They say you can repair it.

What a laugh!!!!! A bent steering wheel trhat can be repaired for $400.

You guys should see some of the other parts they have and prices. Yes, how are they still in business!!

They aren't the only ones... have you seen the ebay seller called "ExotiParts" in Virginia?? Clearly another company who's only interest is capitalizing on the clueless rich dummies, and no interest in the vast majority of the market... us!
Here's a prime example... (try not to throw up Robbie) check this out --> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270155985030

Check out this cam cover that they are selling for $115 on their website. They bought it off me for $26 because when I was doing the engine out job there was a crack in it so i wanted to replace it. He ended up buying it off me and now selling it at 4 x the price.

One problem is that they are cheaper than $115 brand new.

    What a ............... should I say it??
