    The front isnt bad but the back is terrible. The big purple 5 looks fugly. What was wrong with the previous version of the 5?

    They should just queer it up and call it a 3 dollar bill cause that's what it's worth anyway. :(

    He looks stressed! Maybe lost some weight due to the recession!? :D That Purple 5 in the backside just doesn't belong there, they should've just kept it the same as the other font colours.

    And still no braille bumps to designate denomination.

    We have braille instructions on *drive-up* ATMs, but nothing on the money itself.

    I like it.

    Updated software on main sorter last week.

    Some anti-counterfeit measures on a "fin" include; infrared blocks and watermarks [3 left of portrait, 1 right] - which are clearest I've seen on US currency, thus far.

    The large "plain" 5 on the bottom right is for those with visual impairments.

    I don't really car if it looks bad, It is in my wallet anyway. But if I had to, I would say it looks funny.

    Dont come to Canada..our money is even more purple and light blue and pink. I like the US Bills though. The $100 bill looks awsome. Are they redesigning all the US Bills?

    Australian money is also very colorful, and you can't tear it because it's made out of recycled plastic. So you can swim with it or leave it in your pants in the washer!

    Maybe it is made with a new fabric that is designed to absorb more cocaine than the previous fabric/cloth. This would allow secret service to somehow extract the coke from all the currency out there, and sell it to raise $$ for the gov't. HHHMMM.....

    I believe they said the $1 bill will NOT be redesigned.Guess there's not much profit in counterfeiting that bill.

    Or it might be a sign that they finally figured out if they release $1 coins and stop printing $1 bills it would save the govt money. NAH, the govt isn't that smart.......... :)

    It is still quite popular in Charlotte among the banker/partyer crowd. I hear about meth lab raids all the time out in the boondocks, but not in the city.
