Yes, it is lower, as a result of the Fiorano (FHP) package.

Sorry I don't have a picture bigger or better than this one, but anyone know what color this is. LOVE IT! I also love the interior. The pic was taken at Texas World Speedway and the car had been driven quite a few sessions on track. Very cool! I would LOVE to find a 456 in this color!

It may be hard to tell, but it is more of a dark red and it is non-metallic.

Amaranto is nonmetallic dark red.

 

Yes, I love the deeper, darker Red also. I think it's Amaranto. On the earlier cars it was called Rosso Rubino. It's a way to have a Red Ferrari without it being "first Ferrari red".....Just kidding!!....Please, no flame mail.

Also..would you mind telling us what this aftermarket FHP on our 550 set you back--parts and installation? Don't worry, I am already sitting down.

Totally agree. I do want a first Ferrari Red (or resale red if you prefer) for my first one though...THEN I want Amaranto 456 GTA! I wonder if any 456's were made in that color? I doubt it...but a guy can dream can't he?!
