    Can anyone post a pic of the correct seat belts for a late 72 GT (chassis 4514). My car appears to have a rather nasty inertia reel which is fixed to the inner sill. I presume the car should have a static system?

    I have photos of the original UK belts on my late '73 GTS (07412). Are these of any interest?

    british cars had different belts. there a uk spec supplement that details the difference

    No. Adjustable by hand only. It occurred to me that I should try to get a photo of the inner sill. Stay tuned!

    Ok thanks for that. I think someone has fitted the interia system from a 308 to mine! I'll get a static system on order.

    Yeah, whoever it was probably got tired of the tedious hand adjustment.

    You might want to check with Nerodino (Graham). He had somebody in the UK make a reasonable facsimile of my belts (from those photos) using modern parts last year. See his post #11 on this thread:
