I think Massa just needs to learn to maximize his points, not his position.
Being better than Rubens, Eddie Irvine, Johnny Herbert, and Martin Brundle isn't much of an achievement imo.
Lets count how many drivers are better than Massa. Raikkonen, Hamilton, Kovy, Alonso, Heidfeld, Kubica, Vettel, Rosberg, Trulli, Button, and maybe Sutil. That's 11. Maybe its time Ferrari fired this idiot and got someone that knows how to drive.
-1, Massa is an overpaid medium-sized turd who can't drive worth a rats @$$. He should have already been replaced.
Oh come on Ted, even you have to admit that there are threads that are simply saying good luck for Ferrari, or good luck to Massa and Kimi and you'll feel the need to just throw in a post saying Massa sucks when that had nothing to do with the thread and there weren't even excuses being made for massa.
Cough - two time world champ (I don't care if he's a whiny ***) who could actually BRING IT in a Ferrari Alonso - Cough I would be worried for my career if I was Massa. Clearly the guy is on fire when he's not crashing, but that's half the problem isn't it?
Actually I enjoy this season tremendously. I'm wondering whether Massa will have a year like Michael Andretti or not. And I find the bet whether Alonso or Massa scores more points quite entertaining. I knew Massa would struggle without TC, but he even surpassed my worst expectations. Since I really don't care much for the WCC, it is kinda entertaining to watch Phil Schumassa, a driver who allegedly is better than Senna according to some people in the know on here, throw away good points.
I banned Senna1994 for the personal attacks. Since he can't post here at the moment he has asked me to apologize in his name, particularly to 355. I appreciate that and would like to ask everybody to abstain from personal attacks and insults. We have different opinions, that's great, that's what makes this place interesting, but we shouldn't call each other names. That goes for both sides.
I don't know if you are only supposed to post in thread if you believe Massa sucks, but I don't.............. He's had some great races.
Ya know... there was another brazilian F1 driver that DNF'd on his first 2 grands prix in the 94 season...
I personally don't understand why we are getting so worked up about a Ferrari number 2 driver? Massa does not matter at all, and that is why he is there and also why Ferrari don't want somebody who can drive in the number 2 spot. Kimi is their focus ... what Massa does matters little. Ferrari don't want just the WCC they want the big one, the one that took them 21 years to get back, the WDC. Ferrari have Kimi for that, just like they had MS. Thus any of us could do the job Ferrari expect from Massa ... ie. very little. Pete
In essence I couldn't agree more. I believe the focus on Massa stems from the exaggerated expectations and statements from the Phil Schumassa camp. Windsor and his "Massappeal" article did some damage as well. I never cared much about Ferrari's #2 (well except Eddie, but that's another story), but when I read that we all know nothing, are arm chair quarterbacks, mentally instable, idiots, dumbf_ucks because we don't believe that Massa is actually better than Senna, well quite frankly then it gets personal. If the same folks then even go as far as to attack Kimi, ask for his head and think that somebody like Hamilton "just was lucky", then it is time to sit down and have some discussions. Ideally based on facts. PS: I got a lot of crow in the freezer. Waiting to be served at season's end.
