My F512M

Hi guys! I finally found my dream car here. Its been 11 years since I sold my 512TR in Boston. Never thought there are any 512TRs here, let alone a F512M. A UK RHD car. I can't believe it still looks amazing 13 yrs after its brief introduction. I would never sell it or trade with anything.

How many miles/kilometers does it have? Could you post more pics of the interior and exterior?

 

thanks guys. I will post pics of interior and engine. car has original 800 km. the previous owner stored the car for most of its lifetime. engine runs fine but both valve covers are wet. I'm sure the timing belt has not been touch. I did the fluids last week, but I have to do a 30k service soon.

That many years with the belt frozen in one position... use caution. If(?) these belts have any long term creep characteristics, the belts are by now differentially distorted along their length. As the 'old' belts now start to rotate, they will impart differential loads on the teeth. That issue is on top of the time deterioration of the rubber teeth.

You might consider parking it until the service is complete.

Regardless, enjoy it for many years to come!

thanks for the advice Vince. that is something to consider before taking it for a drive. I guess I may have to drain my wallet again asap. Phew!

 

Wow, very low km. Did the car receive regular services during that time?

 

only oil & filter & plugs. think that's about it.

thought about that, but it would be a pain to switch to 'Bogor' licence plate.
