Those prices are not bad at all. If you can find it cheaper...Please let me know. Only bad thing about Ferraricarbon.com is that I ordered a set of cf sills 14 days ago and I haven't got theme yet???
If they were complete replacement peices yea, the prices would be reasonable... lets not forget, for the complete console kit, this is just shy of $1000 for a bag of stickers!
Wow, the console price is high just for overlays. I have the MA Carbon replacement parts and they are fabulous.

Er i am sure that there was a thread started about this company before Christmas. It turns out that used to supply Mcarbon. The carbon parts are made in Japan.
Yep here it is, they seem like a good company that are priced very competitevly. The company www.ferraricarbon.com is also a fchat sponsor and did supply other carbon fiber distributors including Mcarbon. And MC even now sells the same type of overlays. I don't understand why you would pay for an overlay representing something that would save weight, but in fact only adds to it. Maybe on a Toyota, but on a Ferrari I would expect the real thing. Seems kinda like wearing a sock in yer shorts. Just my unasked-for opinion.....
+1 ...........I am not a big fan of the look of CF as it is....... and doubly if it has no real function.....
MAcarbon got its start importing carbon parts from Garage Garapan in Japan which is currently called 'FerrariCarbon'. Luckily, I didn't like the name 'Garapan' and came up with MAcarbon. (I guess naming stuff is not one of my strong points!) We have not done business with them for several years now. As we had differing ideas on product lines, quality demands, and product design, I think the split was mutually beneficial. We currently make all of our parts in-house (we have a big house) in Canada and Belgium. Andre Pouliot heads up our molded part production in Montreal. I do sales and marketing out of MAcarbon world headquarters in San Carlos in the San Francisco Bay Area. (Any locals are always welcome to stop by.) The console stick-ons are OK and we sold them successfully for the first few years. On each set though, there were always a number of issues that I had to clear up before I could send them out, which got tiring, but customers were happy. I assume they are better now. The FerrariCarbon stick-ons are made differently than the $199 dash kits for Hondas. The cheap stuff is a piece of carbon with a flexible resin poured onto it. The FC parts are carbon that has been clear coated. When you look at the number of pieces you get, its not unreasonable price. At the time (2004, 2005), there was no other 355 console solution though. I think the valence part came out in '06? BTW, I have a few random pieces sitting on the shelf if anyone wants some samples. If looking at other parts, ask how much fiberglass is in it and if it has a clear coat or a gel-coat finish. The answer to those two questions makes a huge difference. As for what we sell today, we have only three stick-on parts: 348 instrument cluster, 355 instrument cluster and 355 radio/aux gauge surround. Why these? No one in their right mind wants to tear apart an instrument cluster. And a full 355 radio/aux panel is just something we never got around to doing and do not have time to go back to. We also do carbon lamination but that's different than stick-on and is a topic for another day. Finally, our 355 consoles are full carbon and replace all of the plastic pieces. They are not stick on and they look sweet.
Do you not read whats been said? Did i not say used to? Has mcarbon just come on and said they started out buying from ferraricarbon? And yes mcarbon do use over lays as some of there parts as admitted.
I would say you are both right. Sspooner has known us since after the split. We did source parts from Garapan. We've since diverged and gone our own ways. To ours, and the markets, mutual benefit. I would say that 'admitted' as used by tactical is the wrong word - we have never hid the Garapan link nor the fact that the three parts mentioned use 3M tape.
