I'm with you, very few people on these boards could begin to drive as well as most F1 drivers on either end of the grid, let alone the front end. The physical punishment your body endures is astounding.

How many times do people have to say that its all relative? Like it was so eloquently put days upon days ago... you don't have to be the best NBA player to know who is the best and who is the worst. If you are number 60 out of 60... a child can see that you are not the best. Should we berate the child because he isn't at the same level?

And to put further nails in that coffin, team owners are outright telling it how it is and how Massa HAS ALWAYS cracked under pressure. Do they qualify as informed enough to make the grade on who's opinion you value? By the same token that you don't believe Massa detractors, I fully disagree with Massa supporters, as do MOST OTHER RACE CAR DRIVERS, of any discipline, that i know.

In summation: Children, Enthusiasts, Team owners, and Professional Racers all think Massa can't perform.

Some people (avoiding stereotypes or ignorant classifications here) that hold all drivers in the same regard because they can do something most people cannot, think Massa is worthy, nee, able to win a WDC.

As opposed to being a coward by making definitive statements like Massa will win 4 or 5 races but refusing to back it up with cash? Talk is cheap. Put up or shut up.

I hope you are not referring to me as I have been going to GPs and cheering Ferrari on since the early 1970s.

    Read the bet again.

I said 10K against Massa winning 4 GPs. If you haven't factored in the odds of him getting fired before you took the other side of the bet then you deserve to lose 10K just for being stupid.

There is no provision whatsoever if Massa gets fired, the terms are simple: Massa wins 4 GPs this season or fork over 10K. Period.

I have a charitable trust that funds scholarships to inner city kids. Any money I win is going straight into that.

I completely disagree and I think that it is taking advantage of unfortunate situation that would not prove out your bet either. You're betting he can't win 4 of 17 as well. If the guy is given 17 races to win four and then the odds change to where Massa only gets 10 chances to win four, then the criteria of the bet has changed. Of course you would want the bet to stand, you have nothing to lose. But, fair is fair and taking advantage of someone for your personal gain borders on a character issue with me. That's like you betting you can out run some guy in a sprint. The day before he breaks his leg, but you want him to pay up any way. Are we gentlemen here or are we ruthless non principled enemies? I consider my bet with you on a gentleman basis and I will gladly pay you on that gentleman's bet. I also believe you to be gentleman enough not to stiff me if you lose. So, are you a gentleman or a ?

Yada yada yada yada.....You know who I am referring to. I belong to a betting group and there are times I know that a certain driver or team will do better than Ferrari and I would love to bet them to win but I cant bring myself to cheering for the other team while hoping for Ferrari to win.You see you cant do both at the same time. Thats something you dont seem to have any problem doing because you have been a Ferrari fan since the 70s. Please get off the high horse. You came to this site shortly after Kimi came to Ferrari and now you want your other fav, alonshole to be here too. You only want to see your boys in the best cars. You follow drivers not teams. You wounldnt even be here if Kimi was still at the McCheater team. If I could go back and collect all the posts you have made in the last year that were anti-Ferrari it would take everyone a day to get through them. The fact that you would even wager any monies let alone $10,000 against a driver on your socalled beloved team is more than proof of where you really stand.
Is it just coincidence or what...but you seem to be at the center of many controversies in here with about 6 others members who were warned and or banned because of your baiting and name calling. Others dont even want to frequent this racing section anymore because all you do is smash and belittle Ferrari in one way or another. Its a pitty that the real moderators cant see this and give you the heve hoe once and for all as you have slowly but surely turned the racing section into a Bash site. Yes now you can call me a sycophant and throw in any or all of the 2 dozen or so insults you have used on me and other in here. I guess it makes you feel good. If the US govt spent as much energy looking for Osama Binladin as you have bashing Massa they would have found 6 of him by now.

Seriously, why does it matter? I can clearly see who can and cannot control the car with his right foot.

Massa is like the new Nissan R35 GTR... fast with all the electronic gizmos. Fast over 1 lap. But over a race distance (or... you know... one corner) its all 3800 lbs of stupid slamming into mediocre natural talent.

uptil yet, he is horrible, but he has a repu, he was 4th in the ranks last season with 6 poles, and a sacrifice that made Kimi the champ, he is a team guy & you don't get these things even with 2 time champ like Alonso

I hope he can still show class as 16 races are there

    Phylotic 1 through 3.

Not helping your cause by adding user name after user name. Having multiple IDs, especially while you're already on a temp ban, is gounds for a permanent ban.

As to your notation about the other post or posts, I don't read every one in every thread on FerrariChat. I have to sleep sometime, and my nasty old job gets in the way too.

I didn't get a "!" on the Senna post, and it appears he deleted it withing minutes of posting it, because it's gone from public view now.

As to the final disposition of your membership here, I'm gonna push your ban out to the end of the F1 season. If you come back during the ban again with another ID, it'll become permanent.

You have my email address, use that if you want to talk about this some more.

No F1 driver sucks. I have the utmost respect for any F1 driver, including Massa. Massa would still very much wipe the floor with any of us in a one on one race. Having said that I do think he needs to be replaced at Ferrari. Simply because the expectations of a driver at Ferrari are just that high.

You might want to read the latest issue of Racer magazine. In a charity Karting event in Brazil, Massa finished 62 out of 66 drivers...

It doesn't matter if Massa could drive circles around us, it ONLY matters if he can drive circles around his competition. I don't need to be able to hit a fastball to say the Tampa bay Devil Rays suck, do I? They don't play my neighborhood softball team, they play in the major leagues and that is where the comaprisons are relevant. So does Massa. He can drive circles around your average person all he wants, what difference does that make if he continues to earn no points through driver error race after race? What is he going to tell Ferrari? "But...but...but...I am faster than some guy sitting on his couch watching the race at home!!" Do you think that is going to save his job?

The fact is that you could put me or anyone else here in an F1 car (assuming my fat arse fits) and I could achieve the exact same results this season that Massa has. I guarantee you that I can spin out in the first two corners and DNF just as easily... :D
