Car looks good in primer. Makes me think a silver 348 would be pretty. Anybody got a pic of one?

Paul ... this is one of those times when you can sit back and think ... what colour would I really REALLY love a 348 in!

Chance to get a one off (or so). I would love a white 348 Berlinetta but I couldn't justify respraying a perfectly good red one ... if I was having it restored however :)

Do you mind letting us know how much the work stands you at so far? No probs if you'd rather keep it private.

Looking forward to seeing the finished trim too (sans 348 glovebox hopefully!).

Hopefully see you at one of the meets soon.

    Cheers.

Will let you know on how the Leda shocks work, as for getting the car back i have no idea as i am at the mercy of the company doing the paint work!
But when it does comeback i have around 6 months of work ahead of me, I have got re refit it out , I have sourced all new glass and door rubbers. Got to fit the dash, interior, new leather head lining, Tubi, silicon hoses coolant, oil tank ETC ETC just need the car back.

Look forward to meeting you when i do get my cart back on the road.
I have thought about changing the colour but Ferraris have to be RED! I have waited all my life for a Red Ferrari, The only thing i did think about is getting it done in the new metallic red they paint the F1 cars in and i think you can get a F430 in the same colour, but this is a restoration job and i am trying to make it look as fresh and standard as i can bar from the 360 split rims i have got for it.

    Just a small update,
I managed to get a set of 360 modular wheels. These were in need of refurbishment as the lacquer on the diamond cut outer rim was flaking. So removed all the titanium bolts and split them.
I have had the Outer rim polished and the inner part panted the same colour as the face and then the whole rim was lacquerd, so no more polishing!

The photos don’t do them justice as the rim looks gold due to the flash, but i can tell you in real life they look fantastic.
