Similar to the Testarossa design. When early TR's were produced, there was a law that the side mirror had to see 100% over the large rear fenders - Thus the high TR mirror mount. Later, the law changed and the mirror came down.

Joe, You're correct. Mine looks like a yellow chromate process. We would use gold zinc today to replicate it. Steve
