Yup, ethics makes things easy. Lawyers make things difficult. One of the best lessons I have learned, and I learned it the hard way.

I don't understand Josh. What it is it that you think people on this forum are going to do? You can't honestly think we are going to go to CATS with pitch forks and buring torches do you? There can be only 2 reasons why you continue with your shenanigans: for drama value or libel. The drama is irritating (maybe entertaining for some) and the libel is just going to get you into trouble. You would be better advised to post the outcome than to continue. You either have lost or will be losing the sympanthy of this (the forum) jury.

I am very surprised your lawyer as not advised you to keep you mouth shut during this legal process.

Has anyone figured out how Josh was able to rub enough nickles together to buy a Lambo yet?

Seems the guy is an utterly and completely helpless moron, and maybe borderline insolvent. Josh, what was your secret? How did you do it?

Roy, here are two more reasons to sue 360spider for slander and/or defamation (IMO)!

Im sure she did (advice 360spider) but he's too much of a whiner to take it. What a biatch! He should've been a cheerleader.

No one else curious if the carfax would show there is an issue today? Seems like it would be a good test of carfax IMHO...

It didn't before and it probably wont now. Unless the Leasing Company already placed a lien (stupid LV judge gave them the necessary ammo to do so) on the title. Carfax (IMO) has always been "just a gimmick" and a total waste of time and money anyways. I wouldn't rely on them for shiite!

I don't know. Tough position for Roy. It could have went either way here. If he cut a check I am sure people would say "See he is guilty he sold a stolen car" or "Wow what a great business man, he really cares about his customers".

Looks what has happened so far. Why would you want this type of person with "this" type of character as a customer? A person with this type of character that continues these antics even with all the advice people have given him to HELP solve his problem and basically refuses to accept it, is not someone I would be cutting a 100K note to so that he feels better.

Roy doesn't even have to co-operate with Josh. He could be lawyering up himself and not "play nice" until forced to by the courts.

Everyone can agree that this whole ordeal is a mess. There is too many people involved to make clear judgements. It is at this point where you turn this problem over to the legal system and get help sorting this out.

If I was to bet the farm it would be scratch tickets or settlement money (accident, workers comp, etc.). It would have been a better idea to take that 100K and invest in education IMHO.

Kevin at Cats said josh was a 'cage fighter' ..Im assuming he wasnt being sarcastic.

There are a few Joshes in the UFC and one of them is the right age but says he lives in Indiana , IIRC.

I had a GF whose brother fought in UFC...very nice guy but not the brightest bulb in the house. Unfortunately died of a brain aneurysm

I'd say the 'antics' continued because the customer wasn't dealt with in a way he should have been dealt-with as a Customer - one who, BTW, paid cash-money for a rather expensive car. Regardless of the age or legal knowledge of the buyer, if I pay for something, I expect a certain level of service or support for my purchase from the buyer - not be told-to 'go screw, hire a lawyer, not my problem, I didn't know' -noise. That's not the RIGHT thing to do if the purchased item is a Lamborghini or a pack of chewing gum. The tenets of customer service doesn't change here - they never do. If I were in Josh's shoes, I'd rant-and-rave 'till the cows came home simply because as a customer I've been put- and LEFT in this situation by the folks who sold me a car with this problem. If that car isn't in Josh's driveway TONIGHT, then I don't care if there's still an undecided issue of whether the title is 'legal' or 'not'....Josh is still left holding the bag. Now that lawyers are 'involved', you can bet that Josh won't be made whole anytime soon.....that's just WRONG.

I hope we're talking about Josh "The Blanket" Koscheck. I would root for the car thief vs. him. I don't know much about the other 2 (had to look them up).

Yikes on your GF's brother. That sucks.

EDIT: Location would be about right, too, from what I can tell.

On that note, I WILL be calling Roy for an exotic the moment I decide it's the right time to do so in my life. This is a sad case, but I'd flip my perspective and be thankful there's any help being offered.
