08 430 Spider Availability and Market Value

    My new 2008 430 Spider is on a transport truck and due to arrive in my garage this Monday or Tuesday. I have been told by my dealer that the 2008 430 Coupes and Spiders are very late in arriving here in the U.S. because the Ferrari factory was building a bunch of Scuderias for the dealers to have when the car was officially premiered here. Has anyone seen any 08 430's around and does anyone have any idea or opinion as to what the market value of an 08 Spider is at this time? Thanks, Barry L

    Prob $325K or so. Have seen asking prices on '07 low miles spiders at $299K. Are you planning to flip or something??

    $60K over? There are no 08s on the market. I have not yet seen one for sale.

    Scuderia production story very true and understandable as the profit margin is at least twice as high for Ferrari, my 08 Spider arrives in 3 weeks in Switz, delayed circa 1 month

    Tim: I may flip the 08 as I am very interested in a 100 point world class 246GTS Dino which, unfortunately, will cost me more than this new 430 Spider is worth. However, world class vintage Ferraris do not come along every day and I can always buy another 430 Spider. Best regards, BarryL

    Did you purchase at Shelton?

    My 08 F430 Spider arrived at FNA from the factory about 10 days ago and I too am awaiting its arrival at Shelton this week. Perhaps both will be on the same truck if in fact you ordered through Shelton.

    How long did it take for you to get yours? My name when on the list in July of 2003 when I took delivery of my 360 and I was finally able to spec the car last November......
