Wow! Thats great news! I hope this is an Enzo for Vancouver and not another car being stored before it gets shipped to the USA. Did you ask any questions about it? Know any more info?
BTW , that Superleggera is now available for rent , but not for everyone ofcourse - only for Club members , who can pay 7500 for membership and 3000 per month after. They have a few more cars , including R8 , 430 etc Heard about SV Murcie as well
I talked to owner , it's called "Imperial one " or smth like that , they have a web site as well ( I don't remember it , sorry ) . You can find it all out at VIAS , guy is there with his Bentley Continental GT . Risky guy , not sure he'll have many members in his club . Info is - pay 7500 to join , 3000 per month after or 33000 per year , can use all cars they have , there is a mileage limiter
The owners name is Harvey. He's a very nice guy. He is already a very successful business man. He owns 2 restaurants and has done this "car rental" program in Europe. This is something Vancouver needs. There is a lack of "high end" things to do in Vancouver. I hope he suceeds with his ventures here in Vancouver. I'll post the website with more info on it later. Just at work right now and can't remember the website.
Yeah , he is very nice person. Hope you're right , Vancouver is different from Europe . Too bad it's a club , not a rent , I'd blow some cash on Superleggera )))
33000 a year sound like a good deal to me to be driving around in exotic vehicles. Club is called empire one edit: quick search reveals following info: Essentially, members are provided with 1,200 points and 9,000 kilometers, which count towards driving time on any of the 10 vehicles (depending on their availability). You pay a one-time membership fee of $7,500, then there’s an annual membership fee of $32,998. Members have the option to choose monthly payments of $2,995. “That gives each member 50 to 70 driving days a year, and members can book any vehicle up to 30 days in advance for a maximum of seven days in a row,” adds Sanghera, adding the point system takes into account high and low seasons and days of the week. Empire One's prestigious car collection will include: - Bentley Continental GT Speed - Ferrari F430 Spyder - Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera - Audi R8 - Porsche 911 Turbo - Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT - Maserati Gran Turismo S - Aston Martin Vantage - Range Rover Sport Supercharged - BMW M3 - Nissan Skyline GTR With that selection of cars I don't think I would join. Now if they had a murci, carrera gt, slr, etc. I would be in for sure.
I was shocked about the Reventon too. Its nice to here but unfortunately it will probably get locked away and we will never see/here about it ever again. I am excited for the SV that is going to be coming out though.

One of the girls working at the Empire one booth at the autoshow told me that there would be a few cars under category 6 which isn't advertised on their booklet and that this included an SLR... Today: Black 512TR on Burrard Red Testarossa on Burrard And I usually am critical of non-exotic postings but I saw a Ducati 1098 on Point Grey rd as well...
I was told that if it the club becomes successful, then they may be adding a category class 6 which would include higher end super cars such as the SLR and LP640.
All the cars are guarenteed to them. So once they have people signed up then they will recieve the cars. It is pretty impressive that they have one of the new Continental GT Speeds since there is only 3 in BC right now.
