As our invbestigation is on-going and lawyers are now involved, I am not able to speak about specifics in the case tell we have everything nailed down, from the front to the back.. I currently have represenatives working very hard on this IN PERSON in Las Vegas, Huntington Beach, CA and Randallstown, MD. It has already been said that the guy (non us citizen who took the finance out) payed off his finance. It was one of the partners in the finance company that alledgedly did the fraud as he was having problems with his business partner and wanted to get back at him.
I can tell you guys that so far in the investigation...this thing has got more frikn twists and turns than the Snake River...just have to keep riding the raft to the end and see where it comes out at...

So the "supposed" NCIC number provided by a member from another board, not only does the first two digits show a report, (if it is in true fact) 08 being taken in 2008 NOT in Dec 22, 2007 as reported...HOWEVER a check as of today shows it NOT in the Data base, nor was it, nor is there a report on it...for your viewing pleasure.. If a lot of this stuff is public record, where can I, Joe Public, access it to check VINs, police reports, people's criminals backgrounds, as alluded previously, and so on?
?? I know where they are, and who they are, was asking if anyone had any dealings or info on them...kind of like doing and investigation of the neighborhood when I was a COP at the crime scene....
Most of the stuff you have to ask the Goverment agency direct for a copy under the freedom of reporting act...as far as criminal records, most ALL states have a local data base you can view on line, when the proper info is entered you can get a thum nails view of all proceedings involving that person in the Court system of that state civil and criminal, then with the case number attached you can go down to your local court house and ask to review a copie of the records...I am sure it is different in each state, can only speak for my state and the fe that I have done this in..I HAVE not done this in all 50 states, so not sure what happens in each state...

Simple. If Roy pays the $100k+ he may never get any of the money back. He would possibly jepordize his insurance company and atty from being able to defend him. Which in the insurance case causes a denial of the claim in most cases. You cannot settle a claim yourself with out the insurance company on board. They will deny your claim. Roy was also defrauded just like Viva Las Vegas and the end user the "Jackass" known as Josh. It is a no win for Roy sad to say. If he pays the kid for the car then Roy is out and car and the money most likely. If he doesn't, it appears to some of you haters to be bad customer service. The right way to handle this I believe is to let your atty and insurance companies battle this out. Roy protects his rights, Josh protects his so on and so forth. Roy has told the kid from about page 2 of this thread to get an atty, even that he would help secure one for him, then even opted to do a thing his atty and insurance company advised him not too....pay the kid cash minus the depreciation. Still some of you think Roy is a bad guy??? This is even after the kid bad mouths Roy and his company on to chat sites for two weeks!! After I tried to help him after about day two I would have told him to F.O. after the **** he has spewed. I have known Roy for over 6 years and bought 4 cars from him and 13 cars in the past 5 years. The most honest car guy I have meet. You will not find more of a exotic enthusist. He has told me that a car he might have for sale, consignment car, may not be the best for me when I was ready to buy?? What dealer stops a sale cause he knows more than his cutomer?? Every deal Roy, Kevin and I have done was the best out of all the other cars I bought. Immediate delivery, cars under market price, cars in better condition than I thought and no issues. Matter a fact just bought a car from Roy today $20k under what comparable cars in the country are going for. You will certainly continue to see my business Roy Mike
