I just got Leopard this week along with a few of my friends, I have to say it is really cool. What is everyones favorite new feature? I have to say my favorite is either screen sharing in iChat or Time Machine.

You sort of begin to forget the features when youve had it for a while, but on the air they have these new multitouch features that are very cool and I also like the new design of mail and the pages thing.

Spaces. An absolute must have for when I do web development.

Expose outclasses "Alt-Tab/Flip-3D" in every possible way.

Spotlight helps me find all that I need.

I love OSX! Not to sound fanboyish at all!

I'd have to go with Spaces.

Although the concept has been in many linux distros for a very long time.

Got a Macbook Pro on the 25th (Nice present for my 18th birthday).

Can't say I've explored much, waiting for a session with an employee at one of the stores (one-to-one package included when purchased). Can't point to any one feature but it all runs very nicely.

Only problem I'm having is justifying the expense over a regular Windows laptop. Guess Final Cut/iMovie and all the other specialised programmes will come into their own once I move on to university.

Indeed. I love it especially in Ubuntu.

Although I prefer using Ctrl-Shift-(arrow key) to move windows to other workspaces, instead of OSX's version of F8-(click and drag windows)

OSX is nice, but it's too much of a mouse-driven OS. Plus, you can't turn off mouse-acceleration.

wow; had no idea you could move windows between spaces :p -- i only ever used leopard for a short while after installing it on my sister's laptop. I myself don't have a mac anymore -- last one I had, aside from my Intel Mac Mini [running bootcamp, and mostly in XP :p] which I gave to my mother after building my new system, was a G4 Ti Powerbook.

I don't see any reason why not if the MSN client runs under OSX - A quick look at the Evil empire's web site suggests it's doable.

Why you would want to do that is of course another question......

    Cheers,
    Ian

    :D

OK, you called me on my answer - The following is lifted from a Micro$oft press release (!) - It's also dated 2003 (!!) - Hopefully they've kept up .... Link below:

"Microsoft Corp. today announced the broad availability of MSN® services to users of Mac OS X with the premiere of MSN for Mac OS X, the first Internet subscription service from MSN built specifically for consumers using Mac OS X."

    http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/press/2003/may03/05-15MSNMacOSPR.mspx

Thats about as far as I got..... However, my next step was "versiontracker.com" whereupon I came across this:

    http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/25617

Which looks like it may do what you want? - There appear to be *many* options - I simply searched "MSN" under OSX and the link above appeared (a)popular and (b)well rated - Usual disclaimers apply, YMMV, etc etc,

    Good luck,
    Cheers,
    Ian
