You're welcome. I'm glad everyone enjoyed the dinner and it was nice meeting all of you. The same goes for everyone else I met over the course of the weekend. I took several hundred photos which I will sort through and post over the next few days. Stay tuned...

With the US Grand Prix out for next year, I am trying to learn a little about the circuit in Montreal. Specifically best places to sit, how tickets work for the 3 days, and where you are able to go (US GP was wide open to roam on friday/saturday, not sure that's the case at other venues) Any info is appreciated.

    Thanks,

Sheraton Centre.......Hotel Vogue.......Hotel De La Montagne......all a bit pricey, but very close to the action. (And they have underground P)

BTW:::: Call them ASAP because they are sold out by March.

I would try to find a place near de Maisonneuve and Peel. You're at the epicenter of the nightly car club display on Peel, walking distance to Crescent, and shopping around the Eaton Center and the underground. You need to book quickly, many hotels in this area have limited availability one year in advance. I would stay away from the cobblestone areas of Old Montreal.

I was told that row C is midway up the grandstand. The person told me that the AA-ZZ rows were lower than the A-Z rows. Can anyone confirm? I sat in front of the pit straight last time, but that grandstand isn't very "tall". I don't think I'd want to get row C if it is too low.

From what I remember at turn 1 it goes AA-ZZ then A-Z, but don't quote me on that!

The Quebec chapter is organizing a gathering and expo at Otto's restaurant (W Hotel) downtown on the Saturday, and a charity breakfast with Alain Prost on the Sunday morning.
