    Roy,

Please update us all when you can and tell us the WHOLE story.

It is so convoluted and riddled with mystery - it's like a whodunit novel.

    Dont worry, I will...

I can say today that we are a few steps closer to "re-securing" the car for our customer...keeping our fingers crossed that this goes smooth and fast..would like to get it back in his driveway ASAP...then he can go get it plated and registered in Cali before he drives it on a Public Street.

    Roy .....

    Lets talk about

    1) your word
    2) the credibility of your "word" and "words"
    3) the overall pattern of your word.

This is quoted from a member on LP , not my quote.

    1) a Initial set of responses from Roy cats from "f*ck* you" to "sue me" to " I'll help you sue me" to "I won't help you sue me" to " go fu*k yourself ... it keeps going...

to " I'll buy back the car minus rental and mileage costs of 15k" to " I will refund a FULL purchase price + lawyer expenses"

to NOW.... " I wont refund your purchase price + lawyer fees".

    2) As you can see from the pattern , why would you want to do business with someone who has changed his word infinite x of times now.

Roy, Your word has no value ... as you can see....

I have nothing further to say....... you guys want to buy a car from Roy? Go ahead ..............

    360spider,

Why do you always reply so idiotic? I am not trying to flame you but I find your replies very odd at (all)times. Almost to a point where your thought process (lack of) makes me question your motive to posting this thread period.

After everything that is said on here.. what more do you want?

I have also had several positive dealings with Roy, and this will not change in the future.

Probably because you have from the very beginning acted like a moronic tool who was unappreciative to any help from Roy and continued to bad both him on two or more forums without any considerations for him as he did for you.

to all those who have had "positive" dealings with roy , great.

The question is, when you have a negative dealing, what does he do ?

Make promises, breaks promises, so on , and so forth.

My point is, the true mark of a business man is what he does when there is a problem.......

Good luck Roy. I think this thread speaks for itself. It is a bad situation but I think you are doing the best you could.

I understood your anger...Clam down first.
As what I see, Roy is on your side helping to get your car...Get your car back first. You spread this anger onto the forum will not help you much. You are just making enemies here.

As long as I don't have to deal with you as a buyer, I'm good!

You didn't mishandle this situation too?

    1) Waiting DAYS to get a lawyer after your car was impounded

    2) Asking stupid questions like "what time should I set my alarm for?"

    3) Being less than honest about all the details, like the fact that you didnt even register the car in your name

    4) Expecting everyone ELSE to do the work for you

Roy says that he does not owe you a refund based on the laws of his state. If you disagree, then stop with the online whining, and just sue him. If he is correct, then you ought to work this out with him.

But you know the funny thing? You called him all sorts of names. You posted pics of a baby and said he needs a pacifier. You talked over on LP like you "got him real good" - like this is some kind of a game.

Roy holds the cars - YOU DON'T. You're not negotiating from a position of power *at all*, so here's a word to the wise... better not to try to pressure Roy or act like you're going to flame him online... because you've already used that bullet kid. Flaming Roys business will do nothing at this point, you've already made multiple threads and posts doing just that.

You shot your load before you even got to the bargaining table.

Looks like Roy is going to get you the CAR back. And you may be getting a big fat bill from the taxman in Cali for the tax bill, plus interest, plus fees, plus penalties. If you indeed did try to avoid the taxes, you'll be lucky not to do some time in the pokey!

Every single 1 of you is missing the point i am trying to make here.

I will say it once again.

    The topic is "Roy's word"

Roy's word , To me the customer, has changed so many times , he has lost all credibility.

If i in fact am misrepresenting the truth , please correct me.

The only claim that is "NOT" supported on this board , is him giving word to my laywer, to refund the "full purchase price" + " lawyer fees"

Now he has changed his word once again, i cant believe this guy anymore,

THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS PERIOD, YOU DONT JERK THEM AROUND LIKE THIS.

ReRead all 50+ pages. It is YOU that is missing the point but then again you are pretty clueless and unaware of your own ignorance. Don't mean to sound rude but you are too dense to realize you are the one that is moronic here. Once again REREAD 50+ pages. IF it was me I would of stop helping you 30+ pages ago.

And in those 50+ pages he fails to answer any questions a ton of people asked him.

I'm still wondering if the kid even had insurance on the car?

    Yes I did. State Farm.

Mike, in your defense, my actions that you have posted,

DO NOT , justify Roy's Unfair business practice of promises to the customer.

Oh totally. His replies are always so idiotic. I don't know what is his deal. I actually think we should stop offering opinions and let him deal with his own mess. He is not thankful or appreciative to Roy or any forum members anyway.

Do i not have the right to be angry?

Do i not have the right to expose this broker's lack of crediblity , not just 1 , but numerous times?

Is it fair to the customer, for the seller to keep "jerking" the customer and bring faith to him with a promise, to only let him down, time after time?

PLEASE, tell me if i do not have the right.

His position changed because you were impossible to deal with if I tried to help you and all you did was sit around with your thumb up your *** and would not take any action I would change my position with you to.

All I have seen is you looking for everybody on this board to do the leg work you should have your lazy *** out there doing. It isn't Roy's nor any of the others on FChat responsiblity. You were told in the beginning to get a lawyer. If my car was impounded for any reason like yours I and just about any other half way intelligent person would have had a lawyer the next morning. Did you hell no you sit around on chat boards crying for three days before you got one.

Then you waited 3 months or more and still hadn't registered this car. Good luck with Cali Frankly I think you are SOL on this point.

Basicly no matter which avenue Roy has tried with you. You have resisted 100% in helping him bring closure to this matter. All you rather do is come here and flame him. Frankly all you are doing is showing everybody here is do not under any circumstance sell you a car. If something happens you will drag the seller through the mud no matter what they try to do to resolve the issue for you.

I buy a car from Roy in a heartbeat. When I start to look for a add a bull to the coral with my stalion I would definitely look to Roy for help finding one.

At this point I have to believe you are the cause of most of your problems. It was your inaction that has caused this matter not to be resolved or at least further along than it is now. Roy is the only one I can see that is making a effort here.

What does "The Cat Killer" mean?

From the time you joined L - Power, has "The Cat Killer" been the only nic used?
