Time for a little herasy. Put a black Nissan GTR alongside a black 430S, and I bet they would both get equal eye oggling. Put the Nissan GTR and 430S on the track, and there's just the possibility the GTR would beat the 430S. Put the two on a financial 'weigh scale' and the GTR will cost about .25 cents on the doller vs. the 430S. Before you react, ponder just how much you've been programmed.

It is impressive!!!! I had one ordered (verbally because they won't take formal orders)
Then I got a call that it will cost 30K over sticker. No thanks, it's a Nissan...........And it will always be a Nissan.......

I'll wait a year and buy it at 50K......

As for the comparison, yes I see the point. But they really aren't in the same league.

It's like comparing fine wine to beer. Yes they both will get you drunk but...................

There's got-rut vodka, and there's fine, cold filtered vodka.

That pretty much sums up what I'd say, but in a sort of metaphorical, weird way.

Well put it this way, I prefer Rolex over Seiko, I would prefer Lear over Cessna, I prefer Mangusta over Sunseeker.
Therefore I prefer Ferrari over a rice racer.

    Branding is underestimated !

Scud over GT-R, but........£130K difference in MSRP, wait till it rains and see which is quicker ;)

The GT-R would give a F430 Berlinetta a good run but forget about the Scuderia... But again the lighter "track version" og GT-R will be here next year so that should be interesting...

The GT-R would destroy the Scud in the wet, no contest :(

Of course, this is what matters when it comes to sports cars, who`s faster in the wet.........

Nissan names it as "V-spec" GTR.

Don't get me wrong, I'd take a Scud over a GT-R anyday. But in a country where in rains for 300 days per year........
All I'm saying is that the GT-R is the quicker car for the majority of the time when you happen to live in a rain dominated country ;). I'd take one as my daily smoker anytime.

No, what matters in real life is who has got the car that allows a amateur (like 99% of us) to drive like a champ (drive fast). Considering how fast some of the so called rice rockets go around corners with their 4WD systems I'm pretty sure the GT-R is a safe bet with its 4WD. Just like I would dare to say that a 997 Turbo is faster in the real world compared to a equally powered F430 Berlinetta...

Comparing the visual impact of Scud to the GTR is like comparing a european supermodel to a plump but sturdy housewife. No doubt there are dudes that dig it, but it sure ain't going to be equal numbers.

    Possibility is 0.

Curb weight is enough to tell you that, not to mention all those crazy italian F1 gadgets.

GTR weighs 1740kg and 430S weighs 1250kg, the 430S would knock out the GTR instantly like there is no tomorrow... well unless u put me in the 430S and put MS in the GTR.

The GTR is one helluva bang for the buck, but its in a different league, I just spotted 5 GTRs within a span of 3 hours today.

Then you know you have to post a comparison to shut up all the loose talk and bring some real impressions :)

The only flaw with the GTR is that it's ugly.

    Otherwise, it's perfect!

You did see that I typed "F1" right? :)

What does Nissan have in their database? I am sure its still impressive, but compared to Ferrari?

Nissan or otherwise, I feel that anyone with an open mind who drives the GTR will be impressed.
A Ferrari will always be a Ferrari and will get the Wows and the attention... I mean it even looks fast just sitting there :)

I am just grateful and blessed that I have been lucky to be able drive these cars :)

Will A/B test the cars in June... Scud vs GTR.
