    I actually won the 2006 show. I didnt enter last year, because my car was out of action with those pesky rear wheel bolts that came loose. :):)

    I didnt really want to enter this year, because I am doing my major later this year and I will clean my engine/bay and re-trim my seats to come back strong in the 2009 348 car show. :):)

    But.......what the hell! Thanks for adding me to the list!! :D:D

    I am busy these days off, doing training for work, but after my nightshifts I will get get some new pics together and post them up.

    Here are the good (exterior), bad (engine compartment), and the ugly (driver bolster).
    If I have time to get to the bad and the ugly in the next few weeks I'll post new pictures.
    At least my wax on the exterior came out great!
    I had to take the pictures this morning before the sun was really up, so it is kind of like twilight...

    You know I had not even washed it since the week you guys were here. I had been driving it for 2 months with little kid hand prints on the quarter panels. I decided to try the Meguire's #26 for a little change. It is pretty sticky, but gives a very nice finish I think! I also noticed you guys use microfiber to remove the polish, so I bought the 36 pack at Costco and cut the bindings off so there is no plastic thread to scratch the paint. I also did the two bucket wash and applied and removed the wax unidirectionally as you told me.

    FWIW ........... it will be very hard for me to vote for a 'garage queen' ........... IMO a clean F-car means elbow grease and fastidious maintenance, not just 'not getting it dirty'................. :eek:

    Goth, your problem is solved. Vote for mine. I drive the hell out it. I'm just anal about presentation. Everytime I put it away from driving I dust it off, Speed shine wipe with micro fibre rags and clean any brake dust off the wheels. Then it's time for the cover.
    Do I need mental help or what?

    Thanks. It really is not the cleanest 348, but the paint looks really good for being original 1989 era....
    Overall the car is in excellent condition, the underside looks really good. Just the driver's seat bolster has some wear, and the engine needs a good cleaning.
    I really just wanted to post current pictures of the car in a cleaned state, and this gave me an excuse to put some wax on the car.
