a murci turns up today in the driveway of the house next door to where I'm staying in suburban hamilton. in addition to that, a DB9 drove past us last night. I'm starting to think that I've randomly seen (as opposed to organised events) as many supercars in hamilton as in wellington, auckland or sydney! not that I get out much ... c Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I like the P-Plate on that Murci, very fitting. Keep your eyes pealed for your old car tonight, ill be out and about for a little while. How long you in town for?
Oh my god that Murci is HOT! I love lambo's vibrant colours. Living in Hamilton since early last year i've only seen one ferrari/lambo - a red F430 Spider. last week i saw two R8s though - they're popping up more and more!
Will be in town over the weekend. got the 430 spider back - would you be interested in swapping keys and going for a drive at some stage? PM me if Sunday sounds good. is there an F-club run this weekend? Got heaps of pics of your car you might like too ... C
The wheels on the GT-R look like the ones on the latest 350Z. I think I'm finally warming up to the looks but I'm not sure I'll ever truly love it like I did when I saw my first F355 GTS.
+1. But looks aside, it's a hell of a lot of car for the price. This one is for sale. Owner is a car dealer that imported it from Japan - trouble is, Nissan NZ won't have access to GTRs until 2009, so I don't know who would service it until then. Does the GTR need any special diagnostic/maintenance equipment, I wonder? C
Look what i found in a car park today......... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Did you talk to Monty? I wonder if it lived up to his expectations (GTR). It sure is a awesome piece of technology, it is just to clinical in its approach, the looks are not to my liking ether, i saw it driving down Te Rapa road last week and it just looked like another Jap car, not like the rare occasions you see an NSX. Now the blue car you arrived in, that is a nice bit of kit, thank you for that experience today, it is one i will never forget, also thank you for the coffee's and the good conversation, lets do it again soon, but for the sake of your partner we will hold back on the car talk.......
These two cars have been in pics on FerrariChat before ... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=135722678&postcount=13
+1, 355's in this colour are the best. Test drove a LHD drive one in UK just before coming over in 06, from memory is was an 97 car and only 30,000 gbp. Good job I didn't buy it as the idiots here won't let it on the road!
