Seriously? Is this 9 CC thing a joke or did I miss a few posts? I know it's 4/1 and all. If the guy did put them on 9 cards, and then ask for cash, I might be inclined to think he had some deal going with the leasing company to launder money or something. I'd think he was a really shady persona and come up with a lot of conspiracy theories
I heard the 10th credit card owner backed out at the last moment which totally f.uc.ked up Josh's budget for registration and insurance!
What bugs me the most is how can Roy even involve himself with a character that wants to pay for a Lambo with 9 credit cards. I believe the cards were owned by various people as well. Were those people with Josh at the time of purchase? Hmmm!?
In all fairness to BOTH sides he is restricted as I am from posting back and forth on this incident till it is straightened out. I hope we ALL get this resolved as soon as possible to the best outcome for all involved.. AND there are many people working on this 24/7.. WE will get an answer and a resolution for all...that I promise you.. Thanks everyone for both the support, the comments, negative and posative to both sides, the suggestions and the humor we can attach to these mis-fortune of all parties..life is but a testing ground to make it to the next day.. After all we all are in the same boat...stuck here on earth till we are takin away to a better place//

I think he's meeting with his lawyer and filing a case against his mom for giving him a defective noggin! I guess the leasing company somehow got a judge to issue a writ for his brain.
Because it is not denied by the dealer who got the money, take it as true. If only from the buyer, I'll would have said it is made up. I tried to explain this whole farce to a friend of mine. He did not believe me. I lost him when I told him that the buyer who said about himself "I have been damaged" and that he bought the car on credit cards and wanted a cash refund. He burst laughing out loud saying "nice try but you know what day it is...". So even if the story is true, he just did not beleive me. He did not even want to look at it in this forum because he thought that by doing this would complete the April fool's joke on him. I never mentioned the "alarm clock" business or the "girl putting the court in recess". That would have been too much as he could have thought I was insulting his intellect. I'll tell you, you cannot make a story like that up. A true gem. If Roy's business would not be at stake, I would have thought Roy is in the joke too.
Man, I'm so addicted to this thread. I still can't believe that Josh was sooooo stupid to buy this car on 9 credit cards. Either he is really that stupid or he had some grand plan on profiting from this deal in some shaddy manner. I put 95% of the blame on Josh and 5% on Roy. The only way I would hae ever let anyone buy something that large on 9 credit cards is if I knew that they were able to pay if off IMMEDIATELY and doing it just to get the cc points. This was huge warning that Josh was about to turn into a NIGHTMARE customer from hell who is going to complain, and wants you to fix it on your dime, about every little thing that happens from the day he buys it to the day he sells it (or repo'ed). Anybody want to make a wager as to how the turns out?
Josh loses the car sooner or later (I would think sooner) if this guy is genuine in acting the way he says he does, Lv claim is judged bogus, Josh gets somes damages from LV (then he goes get a Murcie fom Roy) because LV is found hidding info leading to improper seizure of the car and Roy gets damages for slander from Josh which he spends on legal matters on the next Murcie purchase from Josh. We get to watch it all for free and then have to go pay a shrink to eliminate the addiction and then get to all go sue someone for that addiction....
Why is it a problem that josh used 9 cards, 1 card, or 50 cards to buy the car? maybe he will not pass finance and the only way to make his dream come true was to buy the lambo on his cards. also doing it this way you don't have to put a deposit down, and the monthly repayments for the cards are possibly cheaper than taking out finance. As long as he is making the monthly credit card payments then it is not a problem.
And if he managed to get low APRs with cash back or rewards points he might actually be coming out ahead when compared to traditional financing. My dad used to do this on car purchases, put them on )%intro cards, and then just switch to a new card when ever the intro period was up..
